This seat has been great! It is very functional! However do watch for it tipping forward...when my LO was 4-8 months old this wasn't an issue, but I was watching for stability issues Because of other people's reviews. Now When I do use the tray (which is rare) I stuff a rolled up receiving blanket in each side where the tray comes out of the bottom. Mostly we only use the gray insert that is in the seat for added support and comfort. Leaving the actual seat and tray behind. It is so nice, and supportive we take it to restaurants and slide it into the high chairs at the restaurant... also use it in shopping carts, just about everywhere. It has been great! Very helpful to not have to worry about the germs or mess the last little one left in the seats. Just sit our gray seat inside and pop him in! It really helped when he was an infant for more support in generic restaurant high chairs that pull up to the table. Now he is 15 months and it makes sitting in it a little too tight.... so sadly we will have to come up with an alternative... but he doesn't mind the generic high chairs now and he doesn't need the added support... he is too busy looking around and flirting with anyone that will look his way! I will keep it to try as a booster seat without the gray insert in a few months... it has been a great product, and a nice second seat for LO visitors when we had snack time... I took off one star for tipping issue. However the alternative that I looked at was the Bumbo, and although it is a little more sturdy, it is not nearly as functional as this seat, and since I am always right there when he is eating it really isn't an issue! Overall it is great and I never thought the seat insert would be so useful everywhere I went!

The Ingenuity Baby Base is excellent! I highly recomend it for any baby registry. We have been using this product for almost two months now and absolutely adore it! My little one loves being able to see everything going on in the room. We purchased this when he turned two months old and it was a game changer. He loves sitting up (even though he can't do it on his own yet) and the Ingenuity seat helps him do just that. I can strap it to a chair or place it on the floor with some toys and he is a happy camper while I cook or while my husband and I eat dinner.This seat is sturdy and provides plenty of support for your little ones. It comes with a strap to attach it to any regular chair however the base is also sturdy enough to sit on a hard flat surface without tipping over. I love the convenient tray that slides right into the base when not in use. It is also super easy to clean! My little one spits up frequently and can make quite the mess. Both the seat and the tray are a breeze to clean. I look forward to using this product as a high chair when my baby gets a little older.

Love this seat! I purchased two; one for my 4 month old and one for my big two year old. It works perfectly for both.My 2 year old is 37" tall and 33 lbs and he has not problem fitting in the seat (we just take out the insert). The tray isn't huge but I push my two year old up to the table, so it's not a problem for us. I've read other reviewers complaining that their kids' legs don't fit under the table when they're using the seat, but my son's legs fit fine with plenty of room. It just depends on your table, I guess.My 4 month old daughter loves the chair. She's not eating food yet but we bought the toy that attaches to the tray and she loves to play with it. My only wish would be that it had a five-point harness because after sitting in the seat for a few minutes she starts to slump over. However, I don't foresee this being an issue for much longer and she gets stronger.Overall, I love the chair. I haven't had any issues with it tipping over. I'm not sure if they have reconfigured the chair recently, but even without the tray in the slot below, I don't have problems with it tipping.

This chair is great! After using these, I don't understand why anyone would get a highchair over a booster seat, or why anyone would get a cloth seat over plastic. We were originally looking for a high chair but were having trouble finding something that would work with our high-top dining table. This chair fit perfectly on one of the table's chairs, and was easily secured to the wooden seat with the back & bottom straps. It's also easily removable for when you need the chair for adults.The hard & soft plastic are both very easy to clear, which is VERY IMPORTANT when feeding a baby raspberries or other messy foods. The tray is easy to clean and the storage feature on the bottom is nice. I didn't think I would like the snap-on tray toy that comes with the seat, but that thing is great for entertaining our daughter if we need 30 more seconds to fix the temperature of the food.All-in-all this chair is currently perfect for our needs. We bought it when our daughter was 7 months, and she's now 9 months. I excited to see how it works when she grows bigger, and doesn't need the insert or tray anymore.
