3210 Wall Mount Key Storage Lock Box with Set Your Own Combination

I bought this as a companion for my Moms Life Alert System... It was great that she had a system to call for help but how are the paramedics going to get into the house without breaking in and then leaving the door open when they leave?This little device mounts securely to hold a key. Life alert service allows you to register the combination and they will share with the paramedics who get called to the emergency. Very easy to set combo and open. Life Alert offers one that hangs on the door handle KNOBS but doesn't work well with door LEVERS as it can be easily taken off and busted open and it also can fall off when you open the door. This unit comes in both the knob and wall mount. Despite ordering the wall mount, the supplier sent a knob mount... since I was in a rush I quickly took off the mount loop and drilled holes. The unit is small enough to mount on jamb between entry door and storm door... the storm door frame hides it from view.

Mounted this between the outside screen door and entrance door. In a pinch all we need is one key to get inside so the size wasn't an issue. (I imagine it would hold 2 maybe 3 loose keys but no key rings) I also place the single key inside a small zip lock bag to help keep the key away from the internal workings of the lock box and it also makes it easier to grab the key since it has no key ring.Solid design and the combination was easy to set. I imagine someone with a heavy object could easily beat it open but between the home camera system and my neighbors it would get noticed long before that could happen.

This lock box is made of thick metal and quite heavy! The hinge is solid and programming the combination is very easy. I would like to say that this is an excellent alternative to a "keyless" electronic door lock and other push button key lock boxes. Most electronic entry door locks have small motors that are too weak to turn the lock in colder climates. Some push button lock boxes only need a 4 digit pin and number order is not important. If your pin is 4231, you could type in 1234 or 2341 or 3412 or 4123 etc and it would still work. This lock box must be entered in order, so it is much more secure!

I really like this, it is just what I was looking for. It is quite small--but big enough for the job of holding a key. The size allowed me to put it on the door jam, which is hidden from view somewhat and from the elements. I'm sure it would also hold more than one key. It was easy to set the combination and all in all it appears quite sturdy. I needed a lock box which did not require a door knob and this fit the bill. All in all very nice at a reasonable price.

Easy to install, and easy to set the combination. What more could you ask for?Update: This has been outside in the Florida heat and rain for 3 years, and still works without issue. It's a little faded, but still solid, and the combination wheels turn without a problem. Well made!Update - I left the heat of Florida for the icy cold of Vermont, and took this with me. It's outside on my deck, and is still working perfectly after nearly 8 years. Definitely worth the money!

Hi all be forewarned. This thing is really small. There is a reason you can't see the inside in the photos. I had a hard time getting just two keys in this. The lock mechanism takes up almost the entire interior space. I have a ford key for my Rv and I had to put it in on a diagonal. I was hoping to put all the different keys that come with a motorhome and unfortunately now I have to buy something else and this is useless to me. They should remove the phrase large storage compartment. I'm giving it a 4 because it seems like it is made really well. But if you want more than 2 keys look for something else. It won't even fit a credit card to give you an example.

I am giving this a 2 star review because if anything else, it will get lost in the group. The item seems well made, sturdy, powder coated and the combo dial works well. The reason for the 1 star, is THIS THING IS TINY.\!!!! It will NOT hold even one chipped auto key (Tahoe).let alone a bunch of keys. OK, yes small house keys and OLD car keys, but do not expect to hold a modern chipped auto key. I tried to make it work but just does not fit no matter how it is placed. The thing looks big in the photos and it did not sink in when I saw the dimensions as to how small this thing would be. Add the mechanism for locking, and there is no room left. Going back to Amazon and start looking again. If all you want it to hold is one small house key, then you re good to go and perhaps worthy of 3-5 stars depending on how well it holds up. The product is great but it's very small inside. The locking mechanism occupies most of the inside compartment so you are able to store one key only. Maybe two if they are small and don't have any keychain. Other than that I wish it was slightly larger and deeper. Very easy to use and set up, and instructions are clear and concise.
