I see a difference!
I purchases this product for my dog that has been diagnosed as having severe anxiety (separation, situational, general) and OCD by her vet. We have tried other supplements, we even resorted to Prozac, which she ended up having pretty significant side effects from. After 3 or 4 days of taking one capsules in the AM and another in the PM (45 lbs), she is noticeably calmer and less reactive to stressful events! We were having sewer work done right outside of our yard. She was able to go outside and do her business (with a minimal barking, because STRANGERS) but she was FUNCTIONAL. Huge difference between what her normal response would have been. She is less on edge and able to focus on training, which is all I've ever wanted. Highly recommend!

Works as stated.
Our Veterinarian office suggested it. we have a over reactive fella, was a rehome we were 3rd home in his first 3 years, he doesn't act drowsy, it just takes the edge off and he listens better and isn't as easily distracted. we just open the capsule & sprinkle it on his food. eats it up. grateful to be able get this online. he gets 1 a day in the am he's right at 38 lbs. money well spent.

Definitely worth trying.
This supplement came highly recommended by my vet, although she prefers the liquid drops. I opted for the capsules for the sake of convenience. My very high-strung Lab also has inflammatory bowel disease and allergies. I do think it takes the edge off, sometimes more or less depending on what kind of a day he's having. It agrees with his digestion, which is a blessing. Hope this is helpful.

Calming but not calming enough for the car
My dog gets excited and anxious in the car. This product lessened the intensity, but he still began to bark loudly and whine. I wanted this to work. It seems the only thing that calms him down is playing with a puzzle toy filled with food or Kong with frozen food inside.

Works!
I really like this product. It really helps to calm your dog when used as directed. I have bought this product multiple times over the years-

They work for some dogs just not mine
We have a high strung German Shepherd. We bought these in hopes that she would relax… As these are effective for some of my friends dogs. Unfortunately I did not have that same experience as my dog did not calm down. We followed the instructions and unfortunately these did not work for us. So we gave the rest of them to our friends whom these do work for.

she wasn't jumping into the bathtub or tearing things up out of fear like she usually would
My 11 year old pitbull mix Daisy has been reactive for years. She was a rescue at 4 months old. She has always had separation issues, and became dog aggressive after a dog tried to attack me. She loves her little "sister", our 10 lb. terrier mix, but she's very protective of her. We haven't been able to take her to the dog park in years. We also live next to a military base, so the practice mortors really freak her out. I tried 5 htp, which helped a little, but with the 4th of July coming up I wanted to try something else. I ordered NutriCalm and started her on it a couple of weeks ago. We have since had a thunder storm, and while she still acted scared, she wasn't jumping into the bathtub or tearing things up out of fear like she usually would. But the real benefit was the other night. We were having a neighborhood bbq, and my husband brought her out on her leash. Normally we don't do this if any other dogs are around, but she was really upset being inside with all of us out in the front without her. Our neighbor's 100 lb Goldendoodle came over to her, and I prepared to have to pull them apart. But no. Daisy sniffed him, let him sniff her, and they started playing! It was so unexpected I almost cried. They were having so much fun together that we moved into the back yard so Daisy could go off leash (she's a runner). They were chasing each other and having a great time! She's a little sore from the exertion (she's an old lady, lol), but wow. I just wish I had found this stuff sooner!

These work for our dog
It has been a while since our vet prescribed these, but I believe she said they take about a month to take effect. We started to see an improvement after our dog took these for a few days. At one point we stopped giving them to her, and after about a week, I noticed a change and her behaviors began to get worse. These pills likely won’t correct every bad behavior. They can help lower your dog’s anxiety and improve their behaviors. An old vet prescribed Prozac for our dog and after one dose she was wigged out and had crazy eyes (as if she was scared and out of control of herself). We never gave her another and these pills are a much better fit for our dog. But, they aren’t miracle pills. You still need to train and work with your dog as well, there is no magic pill for dogs, or humans, to make us act perfectly.
