My kiddo and I really enjoyed this story. The translation is great and the pictures are nice.

This is an absolute cute story. The translation is excellent. In Spanish the story has fluency and rhythm. While reading I make a monotonous and deep voice for the pout fish, and my son loves it every time. It doesn’t matter if he is tired or distracted, the pout fish narrative got him engaged. I haven’t read the story in their original version in English but my son and I find the book very entertaining and I love to read it for him over and over. This books ends with kisses and I give the same amount of kisses to baby. Love it.Compré el libro para mi hijo de diez meses. Le fascina cuando le leo al Pez Pucheros con una voz grave y monotona. Sin importar si mi hijo esta cansado o distraído, en cuanto escucha el diálogo del Pez puchero, inmediatamente sonríe y se acerca a mi. No he leído la versión en inglés pero la versión en español tiene muy buena rima, musicalidad y es muy entretenido. El final de la historia es con besos que yo también planto a mi bebé. Amo este libro por la interacción con mi hijo y el mensaje y rima. Lo volvería a comprar sin lugar a duda.

My son loved this book from the very first day it arrived. He’s only 2 but he stays engaged through the entire book and loves to help me read through the parts he’s already memorized. The rhyming really helps to get a nice flow as you read. It also makes it easy to do dramatic reading and bring the characters to life. It’s not always easy to find good children’s books so I’m thrilled to have found this one and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking to raise a bilingual child. This is a great choice!

I took this to Ecuador as a gift for a friend's 4 year old after buying the English version for a moody granddaughter. Our standing funny is asking if I am talking to the pout pout fish or "Nawnie". She loves the end of the book where I smother her with kisses to show that we all can choose to be kiss kiss fish. In Ecuador I am not sure who enjoyed it more the 4 year old or the 14 year old who read it to her.

Such a fun little book! I wasn’t expecting the ending. Super cute and it rhymes in Spanish! I thought it would be too wordy to hold the attention of my not quite 1.5 y/o but he loved it and wanted to read it over and over. I recommend for all littles!

A quality translation of The Pout Pout Fish. I appreciate the effort put into keeping the rhyme scheme in the translated version. A fun book and definitely one of my kid’s favorites.

I love this book in English, and while the translation isn't exactly the same they do have a good rhyming scheme and it is still very fun to read. We are a bilingual house and so we have acquired many different Spanish board books and this is a favorite.

I was curious how the rhyming would flow in the translation. My kids like it in English and Spanish.
