Made My '79 Jeep J10 Feel Like A Truck Again
I'm very happy with these shocks so far. Like some of the other reviews say they firmed up the ride and made the steering control come back into shape. My truck's ride isn't at all too firm now, it feels like an actual pickup again instead of a child's cheap carnival ride. You will definitely, as another reviewer mentioned, need a hookless ratchet strap to set them into place because with the coil-overs you'll never compress these great shocks by hand but it's super easy to use the hookless strap. I only needed the ratchet strap for the rear. Don't worry, it's easy to do. It took me maybe 2.5 hrs to do all 4 shocks. Bottom line, I am very happy with these shocks. My truck now feels like a truck instead of a twitchy college student on Adderall.

The spring assist is game changer and would recommend it on every Sierra 1500
They’re great and one of the cheaper ones on the market. Good quality and the fact these a spring assisted your able to hold much more weight without sagging

Fits 2013 Nissan Xterra!
Inatalled these on my 2013 Nissan Xterra and happy with the harsh ride. What else would you expect from spring shocks? I pull a pop-up camper that holds an ATV on the front with my Nissan. Overload springs just were not enough. Loved air shocks for the ride but after going thru three sets in 6 years got tired of replacing them. I feel these shocks will outlast the vehicle. Wish I had bought these 6 years ago

It works well with some modifications.
So I had to do some sketchy stuff to get this in a 1972 El Camino. It was "approved to fit" but it didn't. The problem was the coil and its housing hit the lower control arm and just barely didn't fit. So what I did was ground a flat area on the mount on both sides and removed the spring. So I was able to thread the spring in and then the shock but couldn't get the spring retainer clip in because it was to high in the mount without access. So I had to get really sketchy. I used a spring compressor to compress the spring down (big no-no) and zip stripped it. With it decreased in height, I could put the retainer clip in and snip the zip strips. It released with a bang but everything lined up (luckily). So I was able to install it. The one spring sits pretty close to the suspension compression spring. But they did install. With some modifications that I should have had to make. The lower mount for the spring should be removable and not the top. Oh well. I could have just left the spring off but I figured it might be cool and add a little benefit.

B + packaging
Bought 2 sets from the Same Vendor. One set of appears to be fine, the other set appears to be used. Sent in two different packages…..?………? One was correctly packed, the other box looked like it was packed by a three year old, which was missing hardware.Per-sprayed penetrating oil before install. This made the process much easier on a 1993 Ford F-150.The ride is better, will update in the summer.
