The player all it did was destroy 2 tapes.

It was so I could watch them old family movies it brought the granbabbies and all the family together sitting around watching old time movies what a blast ……

It’s worth the money. I bought so many VCR before from other stores and I couldn’t watch my old video cassettes. I was amazed from the picture quality and sound. I recommend you to buy.

The setup was fine , and the first tape I tried played well, but when I tried to FF or rewind, the player would malfunction and not only fail the command but would not play the tape. When I attempted to eject the tape, the film would get stuck and require manual removal with resultant damage to the film itself. At first I thought that the problem was with the particular tape that I had used (home movie of the kids) so I changed to a professionally recorded tape but it did the same thing.Because I had been so excited to see old home tapes, I decided to try to play them and avoid the FF or rewind functions , but the player continued to malfunction and the eat the tapes!!!SO SAD!!

The machine they provided did not work. They tried to help but it was defective (even though they supposedly refurbished it before selling it). I am now unable to get a refund because Amazon has refused to issue one, details of which I have been denied by Amazon in sharing that info.If I were you, I would think twice before buying a machine from this seller.
