Really really solid unit
Setup with WAPs is quite a lot different than just a router extender, so if you're not used to it, definitely watch how it all goes with Ubiquiti. That said, compared to the higher end Cisco Systems and what not, this holds up just as well for a fraction of the price. Setup is pretty good with the Unifi system. I noticed I did need an ER X router if I used a non-Ubiquiti switch (thankfully they've brought their prices into somewhat reasonable in recent times but still).Speeds are great, signal is super strong (I only use 2 of these in a 4000 sqft home + one in the garage). I've just had zero problems whatsoever with these new Pros. Huge upgrade from the Lite IMO too (lots of videos out there on why but tl;dr I found it well worth the price bump)

Great AP but you can't get full feature standalone
I am an IT expert, my main network is all manually managed Mikrotik products including multiple POE switches, >3 access points, and multiple routers. I decided to see what the fuss was about for Ubiquiti and purchased this to setup at a remote location, in order to truly use all of the features you need deploy their controller software to manage the device...perhaps the controller doesn't need to be running 24/7 to operate, but it really is needed to manage or diagnose the network. This is a bit of a bummer and definitely makes this for more advanced users only, at least Mikrotik can be configured 100% of every feature with a web browser, an iOS app, or a Windows based app (that works perfectly in Wine on Mac/Linux).It wouldn't be as bad if you could actually build a full network with Mikrotik and use the controller to manage the firewall/router, and perhaps some day you can...but today most all Ubiquiti hardware isn't even available to purchase unless you pay scalper prices. This AP is "WiFi 6", and it does offer some improvement in performance over my very old Mikrotik hardware...but not hardly enough to truly justify the nearly 3X price tag over my WAP AC (RBWAPG-5HACT2HND). I won't be replacing my completely reliable Mikrotik network anytime soon, and the 2nd location has this Unifi 6 Pro paired with a Mikrotik router since Ubiquiti doesn't offer full solutions at any reasonable price point.

Great AP
This one AP almost covers my entire house. Have it mounted to hallway ceiling on second floor and it reaches all the way to the basement as my Samsung phone connects to it with wifi6. 2500 sqft house.I do have a AC-Pro in my basement for extra coverage but honestly I'm not sure it's even needed. I didn't want to throw it away after upgrading so it's there for added coverage. It doesn't reach very far outside. Stucco walls. But I'm rarely outside needing to use it. At that point I'll just turn on mobile data on the phone.

great AP
Unifi continues to shine with their high quality products. never had any issues with their entire lineup. Replaced and relocated my AP 6 Lite with this AP 6 Pro, moved the lite to the basement. Pro still has bluetooth for devices such as doorbell, cameras, Unifi IOT devices which need the bluetooth to work correctly. AP 6+ and LR do NOT have the BT built in.6 Pro also has 4x4 Mimo for additional bandwidth and stronger antennas. This is my main level AP which does majority of the traffic split to the AP 6 Lite. Really super happy with it.This is wifi 6 AX not 6E. But has 160MHZ band.Runs off POE and POE+ Gigabit.dont anticipate on upgrading for a few years. as more devices support 160MHZ, speed will continue to increase and you can drop 40 and 80MHZ bands.

Nice little upgrade!
My old AP that I had for about 4 years (also ubiquiti) finally died, so I replaced it with this puppy. So far the connectivity and performance is good. The set up was pretty easy too, if you’re used to the whole adoption and server management console process. My only gripes are the price (it’s a bit steep) and longevity of the blue status light. If you leave the status light constantly on, it eventually starts to fade and you can’t even tell if the AP is on. However, I learned that you can keep the status light off, and it will still turn on whenever it has a connectivity issue or if it’s receiving firmware updates so that you still get a nice visual queue without fading the blue LED status light. Also if you are upgrading from an older unit, be prepared to replace the little ceiling mount with the one it comes with, as the old one doesn’t fit this new one.Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and would probably buy again.

Solid upgrade from AP-AC-PROs!!!
Home network is still only 1 GbE but upgrading from 2x AP-AC-PROs to U6 Pro’s I’m now getting near wire speeds on devices that support WiFi 6!
