Having Kang in this story is a good idea as his time travelling let's him be in both the stories. I think it does give credit to to the Knull that a villain like Kang is travelling back in time to stop him. On a nostalgic note it was great to see the Ms Marvel I grew up with back. No offence to the current versions. I also like that Spider-man is seen as an equal in this story. I good start to KIB story, it dies the job of a prelude of making me want to read to main story. A good prelude or prequel to the King in Black. It has good artwork, and an ok story, I really hope that the things covered in this book come up in the main King in Black story. The symbiote spiderman series is awesome!

Not particularly memorable. You could literally take the plot and apply it to any hero, it's that generic and soulless. I expected more from Peter David.
