Curly Maple (the blonde wood) and Black Walnut (the dark brown) are both pretty North American woods. Separately, the two are extremely popular for various woodworking uses. Together, they create a nice balance of dark and light! I sanded this rolling pin to a very smooth finish and coated it in mineral oil. Hand wash only! This rolling pin measures approximately 10 inches long and 1 inch thick!
