Oh it's sooo pretty! (And QUIET!) Love it! But it's a bugger to put together. My husband can do anything, yet he was extremely agitated by the time he was done installing. However, the beautiful part is, it's done and looks so nice. Well worth the money.

Put several in the same apartment. Great look, easy install. Bulb cover is effortless to open, I'm presuming Hunter quality & will last for years.

The fan blades have to be installed upside down after the fan is already hanging from the ceiling. I found it difficult to align the screw holes for each blade in this position, and the installation of all the blades took quite a while, as I eventually had to rest frequently due to arm and neck fatigue. The next challenge was mounting the light kit base. This is made difficult because it is held on with three small screws that have to be inserted into a rectangular box that is stuffed full of wires, wire nuts and components. The job is made a little easier because two of the screws can be put in before the base, and they fit into slotted keyholes, so the base can be twisted into place while the third screw is inserted. This doesn't make it any easier to get the third screw into its barely visible hole behind all those wires. Keep in mind that all this is done upside down with the fan hanging from the ceiling. I installed two of these, and figured out a trick to save some arm fatigue. You can install three blades before you hang the fan body to the ceiling mounting bracket. Only three blades are possible, however, as the fan body has to be lifted onto two small hooks on the mounting bracket while tilting it almost parallel to the ceiling, to get it onto the hooks. Then it is left hanging at 45 degrees while you make the electric connections. As far as the fan itself, once installed, looks good and works as expected.

Works great, look great! Perfect replacement for my existing double switch bedroom where I can control either fan or light separately. No remote to go out!

The fan is high quality and quiet. The two pull-chains are labeled as to which is for the light and which is for the fan, so no guessing which to pull. Brightness isn’t an issue—the 800 lm, 3000K LED bulbs are bright enough, and are easily replaceable if you want something different. Installation was more challenging than any other ceiling fan I’ve installed. Installing the blades means lining up holes that you can’t see, and inevitably dropping the screws a few times (a spare is provided). The blades are reversible (white/wood in my case), but once you get these installed you will never want to do it again. Connecting the two wiring harness connectors is difficult because the wires are so short that you can barely line up the connectors. A few other screws are hard to insert because a tangle of wires is in the way and visibility is limited. All said, a challenge to install but worth it once it’s done.

First off, one of the sockets for the LED bulbs is missing the power node for the base of the bulb so it cannot light. This wasn't realized until after the fan assembly was completed! Totally unacceptable. Seconldy, the install process takes time and is an effort. The hardest parts are connecting the fan blades (I found that using an awl to align the center hole ensures alignment for the screws); the connector for the electrical connections is extremely tight with short wires and much effort is required to successfully connect. The fan had to be disassembled and returned for a replacement so the lighting will work on both light sockets (the LED lights are of a smaller size and low in frequency, regular LED bulbs of the same shape are too large so the globe cannot be attached.) Amazon was great at replacing and the return process was a breeze. Thanks Amazon! Now that the replacement is installed and the fan is fully functional, I rate it a five out of five for its looks, operation and quietness. The fan is really nice and accents the room in which it is located, plus it moves the air very well!

I bought two of the Anslee fans to replace some cheap fans in two bedrooms. The Hunter Anslee are great, move a lot of air for a small room, and are really quiet. The first one took about 75 minutes to install, while I installed the second in about 40 minutes. The first time through, it took longer due to having to figure out which screws to use, how to line up the fan blades properly, how to line up certain holes properly, and how to thread the connectors correctly. At one point during the first install, I realized I made one mistake that made me have to backtrack for about 10 minutes. Anyway, I found it fairly easy to install as a 53 year old man and would recommend these fans to anybody who wants to update their room. They changed the feel of the room pretty significantly and I love the silence from these fans in comparison to the hum and slight grinding sound of the previous fans.

Clear instructions: well drawn, worded and organized. Reading them through first helps. Parts: all good except 1 bolt. Had to replace it with one of my own. Just wouldn't go in without crossing threads. FOR HUNTER: in future please add 1 spare bolt of every size/type to the package. THANKS SIZE: worked fine in 2 small bedrooms (ceilings about 8'3" in height). 7 ft clearance floor to fan blades achieved. Quiet operation: so much quieter than the old fans they replaced. Nice bright light: uses two regular LED bulbs - no special fittings. Will be easy to replace in due course Excellent downdraught in summer - made a difference to the house temp and aircon run time already.

We are very happy with this fan. It looks nice and most importantly is super quiet even on the strongest setting. It is as described, blades have 2 colors to choose from, you can reverse the circulation as well. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quality, quiet fan.
