They work very very well. You can still hear a tiny bit, but I was able to block out all the specific noise I hoped to block out. My roommate tried to wake me up for something and I did not even hear them, and normally I'm a light sleeper. They're comfortable too. I was able to wear both of them with one on the pillow without ear pain.I'm very satisfied, thank you so much!

I use earplugs every night because my husband likes what he calls "white noise", i.e. a fan or air conditioner when not at home. To me it is just noise.I have tried several different kinds of plugs, all of which have muffled noise to varying degrees, but never fully. These Noise Cancelling plugs are the absolute best!!! They truly do cancel all noise (although I hope not a fire alarm or other noise one might need to hear). They are comfortable and can be washed and used every night.A definite yes! on purchasing these earplugs if you need to cancel noise.

These did nothing to help block noises of any kind, this isn't the first time I have been disappointed in a product that appeared to look like it would be useful for me. I am a very light sleeper and needed something to help block out noisy people where I am staying at. I have to go to a Sporting Goods store to purchase ear plugs that I know actually do work. Going to give the pair I purchased to my son in law in hopes he can use them instead.

I wear these during orchestra rehearsals when the piccolo is too loud. Perfect for that, or somewhat loud situations. It comes in a nice little case that is small and easy to port around. They are very comfortable and fit well, the silicone is not stiff and conforms to ear canal well. However, they tend to make my ears..itchy? I think it's from trapped moisture (sorry, it's gross I know) but perhaps it's the silicone, I'm not sure. They do 'plug' the ear canal well so it's likely due to that, and possibly unavoidable. But something to keep in mind.

They do a great job of cancelling out the noise and they are comfortable to sleep in after cutting off the stem. Maybe it's just me, but they make my ears itch. I don't know if it is the design or the material, but I have to take them out about halfway through the night. My ears also get irritated by the foam earplugs so it might just be me.

I live with my parents in a single family household, so I’m a bit cramped at times and have no other choice but to listen in on phone conversations, a loud TV, etc. So I needed this product to use to fulfill certain tasks throughout the day without losing my focus and concentration. It is a quality product, and the fact that cleanup comes with such ease, is a plus. And the price is reasonable as well once you realize that this is a single time purchase that can be put to use for a long duration of time. It doesn’t feel odd to place it in your ears, and it’s comfortable. I would recommend this product.

These block out zero noise. I got them for when my husband watches TV before bed but I can still clearly hear every word on the TV and they fall out every night as I'm asleep anyway. Comfortable, but not useful.

These ear plugs are soft and comfortable, and do cancel out most ambient noise if they are positioned within the ear canal just right. You have to pull your pinna (outer ear flap) up and out to insert the ear plug, then position it straight into the ear canal to form a nice seal to make this truly noise-cancelling. Once positioned correctly, it really does block out all noise. To remove, you don't just pull it out as it forms a tight seal. Loosen the seal gently by folding back the soft silicone, then pull out by the stem.
