DJI Ronin Image Transmitter

I coupled mine with my DJI RS4 and it is such an awesome tool. The technology these days for photo and video has come so far in the last 5-10 years. I highly recommend this transmitter for anyone who wants to get the full features out of their DJI Gimbals! Definitely a solid price point, it charges quickly, and is actually pretty lightweight. All you need is the DJI Ronin app and you’re good! Battery life is excellent too! It’s cool to connect with your phone and let it do automatic tracking too!! Awesome features and functions!

I recently purchased the DJI Ronin RavenEye Image Transmission System to use with my DJI RS-3 gimbal, and I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this product. The whole reason I bought this was to remotely view my active track and adjust camera settings so I can remotely film my pastor on Easter Sunday. Active track does not work with Raven eye mounted on ronin sc!! I read on DJI’s website that it was compatible but that is misleading. It works but serves as a glorified tripod. I had to buy an RS3 overnight to use the raven eye! A lot more than I wanted to spend. Great product but just a heads up!

Great piece of gear if you’re running a Ronin setup and need reliable wireless video. The connection is stable and the image quality is solid with very low latency, which makes monitoring shots much easier on set. Setup was straightforward and it integrates well with DJI gear. Build quality feels very good and it’s been dependable during use. Definitely a useful tool if you’re doing more serious filming or want a cleaner monitoring setup.

I tried this on my Sony A7 IV and DJI Ronin RS 4. The tracking is left to be desired. It's okay for subjects moving at a walking speed, but beyond that it will get lost. If you bump up the tracking speed it moves around, kinda like focus breathing. It will only connect to one device at a time. So, if you have it connected to your phone then you're the only one going to see the image. I use auto focus a lot, but can't select the subject on the phone to auto focus on. Only the Force Mobile in DJI's app will work to manually track. You can't connect a game controller to the gimbal while this is connected because the Bluetooth interferes with the unit. Therefore, Bluetooth on all devises has to be turned off. I'll be better off with video transmitter / receiver, Bluetooth my phone to the camera, and Bluetooth a controller to the gimbal. Maybe that will work. Otherwise, open my wallet for the transmission system

Again, I’m a big fan of DJI since their earliest releases, and this company never failed me with any product I purchased, from gimbals, microphones, drones & now this beauty! As a performance, the latency is barely noticeable, so it’s smooth and fast enough to follow up with you. Material quality is amazing, and the weight is not affecting my Ronin at all. If you’re looking to make your job easier, or wanna do a two person job, this is the perfect solution for you and I highly recommend it.

This is a great device. It is very well made and allows clear visualization of what the camera is seeing while on or off the gimbal. The ability to control the gimbal and camera from your phone while seeing the camera view is great. It is lightweight and very well made, as one would expect from DJI.

Yo lo compré por la versatilidad que ofrece, se puede usar en par con el ronin o de forma independiente para un rig más minimalista o pequeño, principalmente lo estaré usando con una iPad roggeada para hacer follow focus.

Si quieres subir un punto mas a la hora de grabar con un gimbal de Dji y no tener que preocuparte por el encuadre este accesorio es necesario. Funciona muy bien en conjunto con el nuevo Rs3 como ya venia haciendo con los anteriores. Si quieres esta conexión con un pequeño tamaño para funcionar en un gimbal no hay otro cable así.

RONIN RS3でアクティブトラック機能が使いたかったので購入。アクティブトラックの追従性もさることながら、何よりも外部モニターへのWi-Fi送信機能が想像より便利だった。 趣味レベルでもリアルタイムに大きなタブレットで撮影映像をしっかりと確認しつつ進行が出来る環境になるので、リテイクの手間がめちゃくちゃ省ける。アマチュアにこそマジでおすすめ。 この機材に対応しているRONINシリーズをお持ちの方は購入を検討する価値が十分にありますよ。

A device with high specifications as written above and compatible with the Canon R8 camera, but there is a problem with video recording, which is not recorded on the camera’s memory card, but rather on the mobile phone… I recommend it if you are one of the people who have a passion for tracking.

Una volta che si sbatte la testa con i vari settaggi, sia del gimbal, sia della fotocamera, fa il suo dovere. Ma è un sistema molto fragile e spesso il gimbal impazzirà e vi costringerà a rifare tutto da capo!
