Q: Are the usb ports surge protected

The unit has a built in surge protector in it. I have triggered it many times since I plug in my coffee machine and microwave in the same unit. Cant use both at once. The protection is pre all plug ins including the usb ports.

Q: Does the light on the power switch flicker for anyone else? I’d assume it should be a solid light.

Mine is a solid light when the power strip is at a different angle.
