These "combat boots" were an afterthought. Bought my teenager expensive Tory Burch riding boots and some trendy Steve Madden tall boots, both of which were $$$. I was not expecting much when I added them to the cart last minute--knowing I could return them if they looked like "pleather" and scraped her ankles raw. She typically wears an 8, and knowing these are inexpensive, I ordered the 8.5 which turned out to be perfect. These are her favorite boots she has worn with leggings over the holidays while school is out to be super casual. Long sweaters, leggings, beanie, and these combat boots tied up as shown or turned down. I cannot believe they look as good as they do. Think I will buy another pair for when these eventually wear out, as I'm sure they will since indeed they are very inexpensive. Such a good look for the money!

My teenage daughter has worn these almost every day and so far they are doing great. No blisters, no discomfort. Some reviews showed them as poorly made, so we are keeping an eye on that and will update in a month if needed.These boots have withstood winter weather, with daily use. So I recommend them.

I liked these boots, but I wore them for less than a month and the small metal circle in the boot’s heel (shown in the picture) already started poking out through the sole and giving the bottom of my heel a blister. To remedy this, I’ll just put an insole inside since the boot is roomy anyway (got a 1/2 size bigger than normal), but it’s still disappointing because that shouldn’t even be a problem until at least after a year of wearing them, with my experiences with other boots.

Not real leather but they seems durable. Just got them and wore them once. I usually have to order wide calf boots because I am a little fluffy but these fit very well. I ordered my regular size 8 1/2 and they fit fine. I am 5'2" and they come halfway between my knee and ankle.

I bought these in 2013 and they lasted me for about three years. I walked in them quite frequently and for the cheap price, they were pretty decent. If you want something more durable, you'll definitely have to spend more money.

i absolutely love these. i had them for more than a few months and then the zipper on one of the boots broke. The material they are made out of is cheap, but then again you get what u pay for. Im all about saving a dollar so i purchased some safety pins and buckled that sucker back into place.

For the price, this is a pretty good pair of boots. They do run small though; I ordered an 8.5 (I wear an 8) and it was still a little snug. The faux leather finish seems to come off kind of easily, but other than that it seems like it's good quality!

These were for my daughter. She like them a lot and had to get use to the bottoms driving, (She's a new driver). The calves were a little small but it was like most boots she tries on. They looked narrow but they fit fine. The price was great.
