Definitely my all time, personal favorite top coat. It’s thick and easy to apply. It dries fast, has a nice hard layer which helps my nails not to snag or break, and gives a nice shine.

I’d been struggling with easily dehydrated, hard, cracking cuticles for at least a year. They would dry out and bleed constantly, even with lotion after every hand wash (I wash my hands pretty often). I put this on my cuticles every time I washed my hands for the past couple of weeks and now they’re starting to heal and soften up again. Consistency is key, but it does work!

This is wonderful! It is convenient to carry in your purse or keep on your desk. It is an oil but does not leave your hands feeling greasy. And the smell is heavenly!

The best top coat i have ever used. Better than mooncat, seche vite, etc. It self levels accidental dents, has no shrinkage and dries fast.

from the wife: It dries pretty fast - within an hour i feel safe to go to the bathroom, lol. i do think seche vite dries the fastest of products that one can buy on Amazon, but I have such terrible shrinkage issues with it. To me it doesn’t matter that SV can dry in five minutes if it makes my manicure look terrible ultimately despite my best efforts / tips and tricks. I do use a basic clearcoat on top of my nails for every morning after a manicure and it helps my nails last about 7-10 days. I don’t know what the result would be with just this product alone as the only topcoat. But this product really does help my nails dry quickly. Like all quick try topcoats, it does get gloopy halfway thru the bottle but thinner helps.i use 2 coats of base coat, 2 coats color, 1 coat of clear nail envy or another basic clear coat, then a QDTC. Then a basic clear top coat every day following. This formula always helps my nails last.

I have no idea how this nail polish stayed on my nails the first week I used it. I use a lot of sanitizer and other solvents at work. Usually, I wear gloves but inevitably it will touch my skin and nails. It did not budge and I was impressed!However, the following weeks it just flaked off my nails every 2 to 3 days. I can't take stars off, tho. It is not as durable as I thought, but it still hardens the nails and conditions them thoroughly. No complaints.I use essies hard to resist to maintain and enhance my nail health and it does a fantastic job.The product is hot pink in the bottle but on the nails it's only a hint of sheer color. I usually add a coat every 2 to 3 days to maintain the shine after the initial application of 2 coats. 4 coats is visibly pink but not overbearing, just not natural anymore. If you flood your cuticles they will look bloodshot after multiple coats.Nails are harder, not bendy and grow without splitting or peeling. I love it. You can still break your nails by being careless.Don't forget to moisturize your hands and nails regularly, because no polish on this planet can counteract the damage of dried out crumbly nails and cuticles.

I like that this polish work as both a base and top coat. I love that Essie is vegan and 8 free as well. It’s affordable compared to other companies that sell vegan ‘X amount free’ nail polishes and products. This bottle while last me a long time so that’s awesome! It gives your nails a shiny top coat and would even work on its own without a polish to give your natural nails a bit of a shine.I do have to say that I hate the way it smells. It filled the whole room the instant the cap came off. I am extremely sensitive to smells so the experience was a bit over stimulating. I even wear a mask while painting my nails to try and avoid the smells but this polish permeated everything. Once the cap was back on, the scent calmed down. So thankfully only one coat is needed before and after the color polish.Edit:It’s been over a week since I painted my toes and there is no chipping. They still look great and are holding up nicely.I painted my finger nails 3 days ago and 2 of my nails have chipped badly and a third has just started chipping. I updated my rating to a 3 star due to this.The polish works great for toes but not so great for fingers
