Amazing.....
Here is a short story. I was at my local lake fishing catching a few here and there. Standing on the bank, I looked down and saw this white and pink mice tail. I picked it up and put in on and casted it out. While I was letting sink I felt the trout bite, set the hook and brought it in. The fish nearly swallowed the whole thing. I was able to get it out and let the trout go. I casted back out and another trout that took the bait in. Released it and casted out again and another fish. This time, I had to cut the line and release the fish. Amazing 3 cast, 3 fish! I didn't have anymore, even though I scoured the shore for another one, no luck. I went back to another plastic, but couldn't get them to bite like with the mice tail.

These feel and smell like real worms and do catch fish
Getting back into fishing, I needed bait my daughter would touch. These feel and smell like real worms and do catch fish.I got the brown because they were cheapest, but the pink and yellow work the best. It does seem like it depends on the day, so get more colors a little at a time.Put this on a size 10 hook about 18 inches under a bobber then reel it in and stop. Reel and stop. Bluegill can't resist!UPDATE: these tend to lose the worm scent and become less effective over time. The bag wears out and does not seal as well. A better bag will help. Don't hesitate to put these in a ziplock.

Perfect for rock cod!
These are great for shore & jetty fishing! Add a strip of squid to the hook for extra flavor! You can fish these with either a jighead, or rig it up as a dropshot with an EWG hook (snags less).3.5" is the perfect size for fishing the Half Moon Bay jetties in California. Will catch everything from tiny rockfish to legal lings.

Highly recommend
My good friend and fishing partner turned me on to these. I used to use primarily mepps buck tails size five and reef runners. I had much success on both until I kept getting out-fished by my friend. We both grew up fishing the lakes of Wisconsin and know where the fish are. Since using these I have consistently caught more fish. Our favorite is the blue fleck.I thought I'd never catch a Muskie with one. Turns out I was wrong. I hooked into two now. The attached pic was a 40" caught on a blue fleck this spring. It takes a little practice becoming successful fishing these so watch videos and have patience.

This bait works for trout.
Wow. I have been using floating power bait for years. Decided to try these mice tails after hearing good things about them. Well, long story short, I caught my biggest trout to date using these! Try different colors, if yours isn't working. My advice is use a single hook (size 8), and test to see if mice tail floats with your hook. If your hook is too large the mice tail will not float. Good fishing!

Keep a jar in your gear, you never know when you might use it.
I do not prefer to fish with power bait. However, I do know it works and it lasts FOREVER! I keep a few jars (Orange and Pink) around just in case. I have had both jars for several years now and every now and then I will use it and I almost always catch trout. I use it with a slip sinker and a fine wire treble hook. The treble hook holds the bait better than a single hook and you can cast it farther. I put enough Powerbait on to float the hook and use a 2-foot leader. Trout are nomadic and cruise around a lake. When they see a bright ball of Powerbait suspended off the bottom they will often take it. I have caught some pretty big trout using this method.

Fish destroy these things
These frogs are fun and easy to work and I've had them draw strikes on days when crank baits aren't. You can use them practically like a buzz bait on the surface reeling fast and the slower you work them the deeper they go. You can set the depth of your retrieve by waiting for it to drop for a few seconds and then swimming it in with little jerks that make it look like it's kicking.I've fished them right over the top of weed beds and thrown them onto lily pads and jumped them off. You can really imitate a lot of natural looking frog motions with them and fish of all sizes will attack them. As with a big rubber worm you have to be patient in setting the hook as I've often fought a fish for a while that was just holding the legs in its mouth. Then you just end up with a frog with a missing leg or two. And this is why I give it only four stars instead of five. Not because that's a bad thing, really. It's part of the challenge of catching fish on something like this. But there are only three in a package. For a similar price you get far more plastics in most types of baits; like worms, craws, etc.. Sure, I've never stopped replacing them since I discovered them years ago so they must be worth it. But the replacement price for something that gets destroyed pretty easily seemed enough to knock off a star.

Great product but not caught anything yet!!
At the moment, I have yet to have a successful catch with this stuff. Our last fishing day between 2 of us we nearly used the full 50g tub. We tried various fishing methods and caught nothing. The guy fishing about 20m down the bank from us was using the same stuff and he caught 4 fish in an hour! I'm thinking we were in the wrong spot as it was working for this other guy. One thing I will say is, the powerbait is easy enough to work with and chatting to a few people, there are different ways to use it, with or without bait, single or triple hooks mixed with different bait. It has a great track record. I just need to get it working for me. Will buy again and hope I get a better fishing spot next time.

Catches fish
I was a bit suspicious about these as they don't look like anything found in nature. I was recommended them by a fellow fisherman and found that they work surprisingly well. I fish in a loch with stocked Rainbow trout so not sure how these are with other species or wild fish.

Too good to be true?
The conditions were unique. It was a lake over 8000ft up in the Pyrenees and crystal clear (which allowed for a very good view of responses to the bait). The little ones liked it for about 3 seconds and attacked it with relish before losing interest (perhaps it was a case of “it smells like a cheeseburger, but tastes like a toilet seat”).The bigger ones wouldn’t even react to it when dropped right in their path. I left the bait out at various depths (which can rather handily be adjusted by volume of bait on the hook) for various amounts of time and no response was forthcoming. There are loads of 'OMG amayyyzing' reviews on t'internet but this just wasn't the case for me.Perhaps it's all in the technique. So blanked, which doesn’t unduly worry me, I just think that next time I’ll leave this stuff at home.

caught more fish
I fish the n/e reservoirs, and this stuff really works. Ifish barbless hooks with worm, put one or two yellow honey worms on the end ,this keeps the worm on, and i definitely get more fish .

Very Dissapointed
2 jars came as advertised, they were sellotaped together, one was intact with the contents and sealed. The other was unsealed with the contents missing! What ever happened to quality control!
