Q: How long are these? I'm having a baby next month and looking for something comfortable, long and absorbent for post partem bleeding.

I am not sure. But they are very long. The hospital pads which are wonderful at first were longer and then these were like the next step down in length. I had stitches and these pads did not bother the stitches. However, I really wasn't happy with them. I don't feel like it pulled the moisture away and instead kept me feeling like it was time for a new pad when it really wasn't, if that makes sense.

Q: I'm used to wearing the regular (not infinity) Always pads, are these better? Will they leak? Are the wings comfortable?

I personally believe these to be better. I've used Always pads since the 90's and these are by far the best they've made. My daughter and I both use infinity exclusively. Some reviews claim they can leak but that has NEVER been my experience, and I can have very heavy flow sometimes. The wings are comfortable, I don't even know they are there, they just keep everything in place no matter what. They are so thin I literally forget I'm wearing them sometimes, and there has never been any skin-to-pad contact issues with infinity either. I would give them a try for sure, I'm so glad I did! Q: What do you do with the side flaps? All I can figure out is that they wrap around your under pants, but wouldn't that direct your flow out the sides?

The side flaps help with any over flow and secures the pad to the panty. I have not experienced any overflow, the pad absorbs all within the middle of the pad.
