Works great to protect expensive wood waxes after they've been opened.
I was having constant issues with wood finishes like Rubio and OSMO skinning over in the can after opening. These products are expensive and it's a waste of time and materials trying to remove the film before use. This gas displaces the ambient air in the can and now each time I open the finish it's ready to go!. I simply use the finish and give a quick shot of the Bloxygen gas into the can before closing. It's pretty remarkable. I bought the two pack and it will last a while since it doesn't take much to do the job. I've found a quick burst is enough. It's also gentile enough that it doesn't splash the finish or make a mess. What I like: 1. It's easy to use and keeps the finishes fresh. I'm able to use the entire container of finish without waste. I used to break the larger can into smaller containers to reduce waste. That's not needed any longer. 2. Two pack is more affordable and will last much longer. 3. Can be used with paints, urethanes, or any material that is at risk of hardening in the container. What I didn't like: 1. The can feels empty! It's not, there is plenty of the gas in the can, but it feels empty and can be difficult to tell how much is left in it. It's likely due to the nature of the material (it's not like other aerosols) but it still feels odd. I got over it because it saves me so much money in wasted finishes.

No more wasted paint!
Works great, no more film on top of oil based paints. Because it is a can of gas it always feels empty.

Works well.
I have been using this to help preserve mead, and it works very well. You get more than you think with how light the bottles are. It was worth it all around.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!!
Excellent product. Has saved me tons of money in finish that would otherwise have gone bad. Spray a little into the finish container. You don't have to displace all the air, just enough to create a nice layer of the product between the finish and that air. I don't know if there is a time limit to the protection it provides. If there is, I have not found it.

Works as intended
I've been using this product for years. It works as intended. I'll admit that the weight of the cans is a little unsettling (they're super light), but rest assured the cans are full. I use this for finish preservation and to keep the bourbon collection from oxidizing.

Saves latex paint for years
This works very good for preserving latex paint. It does help with solvent-based finishes like varnish but not lacquer. You have to chase all the air out of the can. So if the paint can is almost empty, it uses up the Bloxygen fast. I put it in a jar so there is less air space to fill with the preservative. I cut off the paint label and tape it to the jar. One quart plastic Dutch Boy paint cans work best.

Keeps my coffee beans pristine for months.
I use it to keep my coffee beans fresh in a metal container. I spray some in the can to cover the beans and it does the job very well. It is very easy to use... just crack the lid open a little and spray a bit in the can and close. I make coffee about once a week so a pound of beans last me about two or three months and using Bloxygen keeps them fresh no spoilage. Well worth the cost.
