Very nice ultra light reel
Very nice if you like ultra light reels for crappie, bream or even some smaller bass. Seem to be well made and are very smooth and cast nicely. Also you can swap it to a left or right hand. The price is great and the look is a nice touch also.

Great Value...Works like a reel costing lots more.
I'm hard on fishing reels. I seem to destroy one each year so spending $100+ on them doesn't make sense for me. I was skeptical about this reel because it is so ridiculously cheap. Ah...I'm impressed. It will catch fish. I loaded 8lb test mono on it. It's smooth and seems well built. I'm sure it will last a year or two unless I step on it. At this price, I can buy a new one every year.

Great small ultralight pan fish reel
I have not had a chance to fish with it yet. It feels smooth while winding it but there's a clicking noise that I'm not sure why it is doing it. Switching the handle side was easy but tightening it was difficult and I had to use a pair of pliers to get it tightened and it destroyed the finish on the tightening cap. It’s light and creates a nice balance on my 5'6" pole. Between the reel and the pole, it should have the sensitivity to detect strikes with the small rooster tail lures that I use. I occasionally use small Johnson spin beetles and it should work with these as well. I will update the review after I use it.

Decent reel but should be oiled before use.
Nice looking, casts well, & low noise. It was smooth working at first. But after several hours of fishing a creek, I noticed that reeling in started getting a little rough and grainy here and there. A few days later I opened the reel (no easy task BTW) and discovered the internal gears were bone dry. After some cleaning and oiling it was reeling smoothly again. Please note that its not unusual for some new reels to be unlubricated, both budget & higher priced. Can't speak on durability since I've only used it once. Nitpicks aside, I feel that this reel would be a good choice for beginners & casual anglers wanting a ultralight spinning reel at an ultralight price.
