Mueller Austria Electric Razor for Men, 5-Element Cutting System, Wet/Dry, Rechargeable, Precision Trimmer, LED, 40,000 Cross-Cutting Actions/Min For Closest Shave

I have a lot of hair to manage so a rugged and reliable electric razor is a must. I have one that I does alright but it isn't perfect. When presented with the option of reviewing the this razor by Mueller, I jumped at the chance.Upon first opening the box, I notice that this razor felt weighty and durable; almost like an industrial tool. It also has indicators to tell you when to clean it and how much charge is on battery. It's a clever razor. There's also a charging stand, which helps to keep my grooming station feeling less chaotic.Before trying out the razor, I let my hair grow a few extra days. I wanted a quantifiable review so I opted to perform a side-by-side with my other razor (different manufacturer, more spendy with fewer features). Since the hair was longer, I needed to start with the trimmer. On the left side, I used my tried and true razor on the right, the Mueller. The trimmer on the Mueller is small and collapses with little encouragement. I don't think that it was intended for clear-cutting a forest.Once I got past the need for the trimmer, the Mueller was on par with my other razor. In some ways the Mueller excelled - slightly smoother shave and shorter amount of time due to its wide shaving surface. Combine those benefits with the aforementioned features and this is a win for Mueller. However, I'm going to hold on to my old razor for circumstances that require trimming.

This razor is comparable to the other $199 razor. It doesn't pull your hair like other cheap razor and gives a very clean shave. If you are currently not using similar type of razor and just trimming your beard, it may take some time for your skin to get used to razor shaving. And your skin will take time with a $199 razor, so nothing wrong with it. But once your skin get familiar with new form of shaving, you will love it. A great buy.

I don't usually review but this experience was awful. The first time I used this shaver on my 93 year old father in law it was ok. The second time I used it the trimmer popped off. Now all it does is pull out his whiskers. It falls apart when you try to clean it. The foils pop of easily so do the blades. I would not recomend this shaver to anyone.

It looks nice. It is bigger then what I expected. But it does not shave as I thought it would. I still need to use a razor. Pretty disappointed with product.

Like the look and feel. Gives a pretty clean shave when all is said and done. But, it pulls hairs sometimes. The charging station design is a joke. Has to sit perfect to charge. Overall worth the money, but you get what you pay for here.
