Q: Are these stronger enough to be attached to a car bumper.

Yeah that would work if the bumper was not too thick. I would put locktite on each screw to deal with the elements and vibrations. I use a precision screwdriver to set all my screws tight also.

Q: Are these pot metal? does anyone think i could spot weld (mig) to a metal sphere?

I think if you were to mig weld them on it would work aesthetically. I'm not sure how well it would hold though.

No, they are not hollow through to the tip.

Small size about 100, medium 50, large 20.
