Sturdy. Easy to operate. Heavy duty for small machine. 2nd machine, actually 3rd
I needed a good strong machine that I could take to a class. One that was Portable, yet one that wasn't too heavy. But still heavy duty. Good name brand product. Running very smooth for me. Good lighting, good spacing, good stitching, easy to operate, friendly machine. Great first machine. I've been sewing 8 years. It's good for me as a second hand machine. While my main machine is busy, getting cleaned, working on another project. Etc..

Lightweight Juki
Great machine light weight for taking to quilting class. Still learning but love the smooth straight stitch, not all plastic.

Jams all time then jams all the time
There must be a recall as it jams all the time underneath the bobbin. Just a pos, my wife is an experienced seamstress. Sewing machine jams jams jams then jams

It is a good machine for the price
For the price this is a good machine. It is not a heavy duty sewing machine but I didn’t expect it to be when I bought it. Using it as a machine for classes or traveling. It is lighter weight so it’s easy to carry. Hopefully it will be as reliable as my other Jukis.

Great machine for a beginner and hopefully one that can last
I bought this for my daughter as her first sewing machine. She started with a borrowed 40 year old mechanical Pfaff and demonstrated she was ready for something bigger. There are a lot of bells and whistles, but they seem very accessible. My daughter really likes the various stitch patterns. My mother is a professional seamstress and she noted that the machine came pretty well dialed in. The model we have is the HZL-70HW-A.

The best for beginners
This is the first Yuki sewing machine I buy. I usually buy other popular brand. This Yuki far far superseded my expectations. I have not had any problems with tension or anything else that may be a “norm” for the other brand. It is perfect for beginners and especially legally blind person (a person with partial vision) , this, due to the speed control and easily accessible online detailed instructions.

Very disappointed
I was so excited that I was getting a Juki, I always wanted one. I have 3 Brothers machines that I normally use, but wanted a change. This juki is a nice machine and sews nice, when it doesn't jam. The needle broke the second time I used it, the bobbin doesn't wind evenly, the tension is off and bobbin keeps jamming. Very disappointing for Juki. I guess I'm going back to my Brother machine.
