Good quality and a high percentage of black oil sunflower seeds. I used to mix the feed but am just ordering this now. Price is fair too.

Over time, we have tried several types of wild bird seed in our feeder, trying to find the cheapest seed that works. Some are okay but many simply do not get eaten. We have choosy birds, I guess, but they all like this mix. We used to get this same Lyric mix from a local pet store but they stopped carrying it in favor of their own store brand (sigh), so I got it via Amazon. Price is good, but note that this is more expensive than most seeds you might buy in a grocery store. On the other hand, cheap seed is not cheap if it's not even eaten. If it was inexpensive, I'd give it five stars, as it is it's a fair price but does not make my socks roll up and down.The product arrived on the first day of the date range they indicated, which was nice.Note that some birds who might fly south or leave the area when food gets scarce in the winter may stay if you feed them, so if you start to feed, you should continue feeding reliably and not stop until plant seeds and bugs are back, meaning well into spring, not just the day after snow stops, or birds that hung around will suddenly find themselves without food, and birds don't pack a huge fat reserve! I guess putting out seed once in a while if snow covers everything, or during violently cold weather, etc., is better than not putting out seed at all, but if you start early in the winter and lead some birds to stay when they would otherwise leave, you should keep up the good work for the duration!Overall, it's not a cheap product but it's a very good product and the Amazon price was a little bit lower than it used to cost in the pet store when they carried it. Delivery was prompt. I'm happy!I was going to feed you some puns with this review, but I don't want to appear seedy, so I will just wing it, and there will be no robin of puns from others, which would be hard to swallow. Having finished the review, I will now hawk my puns elsewhere, you can eat crow and stop raven about it. I won't even bill you.

For the price I spent on this I didn't think it would be as good as it was. We have lots of Cardinals and Jay's here. I was surprised at the amount of black seed and nuts in it. It seemed to be super clean bird seed. The product itself seems to be lasting me longer than normal because the birds aren't throwing the garbage on the ground there's a lot more edible product. Seems to be drying in birds that we haven't seen in a couple months especially the Cardinals.

My backyard birds love the variety of seed in this package. The cardinals, sparrows, gold finches, juncos, grosbeak’s. All kinds of birds!And the price is right!
