6.0Ah V8 Battery

This product was so disappointing. I received the product and foolishly waited to install it. Then I installed it and used it right away and put in the charger and went on a long work project away from home. So I used it and it worked great to clean the house before I left. When I got back a month or so later I went to use it and it would not charge. I took it to my friends house that has the same vacuum thinking that something happened to my charger and it would not charge their either and their charger was working and charging theirs. The return window is now closed so I guess I am out $45. Not thrilled and I already recycled my old battery.

UPDATE: The seller reached out and sent a replacement in a matter of days. I have been using the replacement for about a week and it’s been working great so far. Changing my review to reflect the willingness of the seller to resolve the issue and make things right. At first the battery worked great. After a couple months I noticed that the battery bar dropped from 3 to 2 realllly quickly while in use, but the machine still worked well. I used it yesterday with no problem, plugged it in, and then when I went to vacuum today it was totally dead. Charger and cable are fine. There’s a quick flash of battery right when I plug it in but then nothing. I can’t seem to find a way to contact the seller directly.

Battery died completely within a few months. Tried to contact seller but haven’t heard back. Will update if I do.

I ordered two of these batteries for my Dyson stick vac. One was defective. It never charged. I thought it was a faulty electrical cord, but I found out the cord was fine it was actually the battery. I was afraid that they would give me a hard time about sending a replacement battery. I went back to my order history found my battery order and explained my concern and they honored the warranty period and are sending me a replacement. I am impressed and a happy customer.

I run my vacuum cleaner an average of 10minutes/day as secondary to the primary appliance . After one month, the battery lasted less than 5 minutes after a full charge. Due to poor battery life longevity, I had to ORDER this item in August 2024; then forced to REORDER again in November 2024; and forced REORDER again in February 2025. Each reorder resulted from a diminishing battery life. The Powtree vendor promptly sent replacements but such seller claims of a high quality product tend to vanish vis a vis poor battery performance and reliability. I depend on the vacuum cleaner for reliable performance but have been disappointed, truly disappointed by the battery quality.

My Dyson has been slowly dying. Many times it would run for a few minutes and die until I changed again for 5 minutes before it would hold the charge long enough to use. This battery is great. A lot cheaper and I am getting a lower run time than when my vac was new. Great battery. Replacing was easy. 3 screws. All the same so you don’t have to worry about mixing them up. There are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to replace the battery. Watch them. They do an excellent job on what you need to do. Very easy. This battery is the battery Dyson should have used from the go.

Waste of money. From day one there was a poor connection but we wiggled and fiddled with it so it worked. Its only used occasionally for a small area downstairs. It doesn't hold a charge for very long and now it doesn't work at all!

Update after contacting the company and sending a photo and explaining the issue, they sent a replacement battery if I added that i was given a replacement as per ther 1 year warranty. Fingers croosed for this one to last. Bought this battery July 27th of this year. To start with it was wonderful very powerful and longer run time. Now it keeps powering off every 10 or so seconds. So really might as well be a dead battery. Very disappointing. Not good value for money, as only lasted 3 1/2 months. Should have paid the extra and got a dyson battery.

The battery has lasted 11 months and cannot be recharged anymore. What a waste of money...

This battery failed in 7months. I have contacted the seller and if they respond appropriately I will increase my rating based on the customer service support.

Los problemas ya empezaron desde el momento de la entrega, después de varias llamadas telefónicas pude identificar el nombre de la paquetería y fui por el paquete ya que no fueron capaces de entregarlo a mi dirección. La batería sirve menos de 10 minutos a plena potencia, es una tomada de pelo. Tuve que recurrir a este producto porque la batería original de Dyson V8 está descontinuada. Eviten esta batería a toda costa.

La batería de la aspiradora Dyson está funcionando perfectamente, y por el precio la recomiendo
