This Drill/Impact Gun set is a great deal. There is another product offering on Amazon for the drill alone, but if you try to purchase each product separately it costs more than purchasing the two via the set. The drill and impact gun are both very light weight and perfect for the casual home improvement projects. The product includes the drill, impact gun, one basic philips screwdriver bit, one fabric bag, two belt clips, two batteries, and one charger.PROS:LED is positioned to light up the area for drillingProvided battery set charges very fast to full capacity (for me it took 30-40 mins)There is a included battery meterVery light weight (have used this product set for hours without intense fatigue)Included belt clipDuring use, the battery life lasts a long time - depending on usage. *I was able to use the drill for two days for home improvement activities before charging.Magnetic sets to hold nails and drill bitsVery strong - was able to drill into very thin pieces of metal and thick wood planksCONS:Belt clip appears weak as it is held in place with one screwThe magnetic sets are two strips of magnets on the top of the drill/impact gun that will hold one drill bit each. Not designed to hold several nails/bits unless positioned in a awkward manner.Included bag is just your basic one piece carpenter bag with no straps to hold your gear in place. * I would suggest getting a separate bag or tool box if you don't want to carry your gear in a jumble heap.In the end, I believe this set is a better deal in terms of quality and items included compared to other offered sets. So far this product set feels very solid and has proven its worth in few of the home improvement projects I have done (installing dry wall, drilling holes for door stoppers/picture frames, installing doors, etc.). Some folks have stated that the provided LED is weak and poorly positioned but I feel it is a very subjective thing as I believe the LED works fine and does the job.

Watch out, DeWalt!
Excellent tools--lightweight, compact, and powerful.. Not quite as compact as the comparable DeWalts, but a worthy challenger. I have had several in use by myself and fellow workers for months now, and they seem tough and durable--two of them have been dropped ten feet, more than once, and survived with no permanent damage-even though impact was sufficient to separate the battery from the toolThe battery installation and removal system is excellent--press sideways to click into place, and depress a spring-loaded retainer to remove. Makes me realize how much I had come to dread jerking on the vertical-installation models (Bosch, Hitachi, Makita, old DeWalt, old Porter-Cable, Ridgid, etc.) where one must first awkwardly squeeze the dual retainers between thumb and forefinger and simultaneously pull downward on the battery. This system is head-and-shoulders better. The clutch system and chuck are excellent in drill/driver, and both tools have a genuine variable-speed trigger (necessary for starting many fasteners, and crucial for sinking rubber washer roofing screws to just the right depth.)The tools boast a 3-step battery charge indicator, which is handy. My old Ridgid and Milwaukee systems had a 4-step, but 3 seems adequate. My only complaint regarding this system is that it is not universal throughout the 20-volt line from Porter-Cable. One must use either the drill or impact driver as a charge indicator before inserting a battery into any of the other tools, if one wants to know ahead of time what sort of life is left--this is important any time you are taking the tool up a ladder or scaffold and intend to stay up for a while. The battery life of the 1.5 amp-hour batteries is surprisingly long, and long-life 4 amp-hour batteries are now available through Acme Tools.I bought this set before Christmas, on sale, and was so impressed with job performance that I got other sets, and eventually purchased the entire line of tools.I hope Porter-Cable considers giving this powerful and efficient system to further tools. How about a planer, a random-orbit sander, a caulk gun. a nailer? Please?

Even the guy with the Milwaukee was jealous
I bought these for my job in the automotive field.Impact Driver:Good for light to medium duty work, Use caution on smaller screws and nuts, this little guy will zip those SOB's clean off.Just to test the strength of the of the impact driver i zipped off some lug nuts on a Honda, (probably around 95 ft/lb of torque on those lugs.) so i know it has close to the advertised torque. And it does not chew up a battery too fast, i can make it through a busy day without charging it.The single handed operation of the chuck is a pretty cool feature. They need to make a brush-less version.Drill:As far as a drill is concerned, This is a really nice drill for the money. I use it for Light duty work and tire repair. I did however get a chance to use it to drive about 20+ 3" wood screws into a few 2x4's for a project and it just kept driving them home every time. However i do not use this drill as much as a guy in the construction trade would use it, i feel it should hold up to the test of time. One thing i like is that the trigger has a smooth gradual operation.Other thoughts:Set came with2x Lithium ion 20V 1.5 Amp battery's1x Impact driver (tool)1x Drill (tool)1x Nylon carry bag1x Single port charger1x #2 Phillips driver Bit1x Double sided Drill Bit2x belt clipsOver all i love these tools and will probably buy the 4.0 Amp hour battery for the impact driver in the future when my battery's die.
