I would share an image, but because of the nature of this item having personal information printed on it- you'll have to just believe my review. I have 2 dogs- an 8 year old Lab and a mixed breed puppy that I adopted a few months ago. But I know you're not here for me to gush about my pups as much as I'd love to. On to the tag- I noted that this would be coming from China based on the seller info which I normally try to avoid, but this tag had what I was looking for. QR on back, name printed on front (in a selection of colors which is a bonus) and the option to have a cute little clipart icon. My puppy is female- being that all my other animals in the home are male (also have a cat and lovebird) I was so excited to go all pink with this little lady, so I opted for pink text with the little bone art. When it finally arrived, which was actually pretty quick considering where it came from- I was surprised how nice the quality was. I set up her profile immediately and got her tag on. I liked it so much I ended up ordering a second tag for my lab, as his old tag was pretty beat up. Both look great and have held up well with these little monsters wearing them for the past few months. My only complaint would be regarding the key rings that are included to attach the tag to the collars- they include 2 sizes. The smaller size was ideal for my puppy- I got the ring on and unfortunately the metal is rather cheap, just getting the tag on bent the ring open so that there was too much of a risk of the tag getting caught in the open space and eventually sliding off. The larger ring worked fine, but I preferred the smaller size. That being said, those are easy to find if you want to use a different ring- the important part is the tag and both are great! Any time the QR code is scanned on the back you will get an email letting you know someone has viewed the page, which is a great heads-up if your doggies wander off and someone has found them.

We were getting ready for a road trip and wanted to update our dogs’ harnesses and ID tags, so I came across My Lucky Tag and decided to give it a try. I’d never customized anything through Amazon before, so this was kind of a test to see if it was worth it. They did take a little while to arrive, but since they’re custom-made, that was totally understandable. When they arrived, they were super cute and all of the information printed on them was correct. The customer website was very easy to use when entering my dogs’ information, and I loved that it was 100% free—no credit card or payment info required at all, which was fantastic and reassuring. The only thing I’d recommend is allowing customers to upload their own photos for the tag or offering more design options. We weren’t huge fans of the ones available, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Overall, a great experience and something I’d definitely recommend.

Update to original review: The tags arrived just in time for our trip to visit my parents for Christmas. Within an hour of arriving, the dogs were spooked and ran off into the woods. I didn’t panic straight away as they had these tracker tags on. That’s when we discovered that the tags DO NOT show the location of the dogs! They only show the location of the OWNER’S cellphone!! I didn’t need to know where I was. I needed to know where my dogs were. They were lost in the woods for three days and found by a kid four wheeling the day after a Christmas. Both dogs were covered in abrasions, contusions, dehydrated, extreme exhaustion, and frostbite on their noses and paws. The vet was shocked they’d survived as long as they did. They are still recovering a week later. I imagine these tags are fine if your dog is lost in the suburbs or city. But, not anywhere rural or semi-rural. The misleading description almost lead to my dog’s death. Be aware. (I already own Air Tags, physical tags, and microchips for when my dogs are lost in places they’d be around people.) Original review: “As long as the website stays up for the next ten years this is a fantastic new pet tag! It’s noiseless, light to carry, well printed, and with relatively quick shipping. PROs It has clear easy to read writing, beautifully applied photo of your pet, and arrived very quickly. Unlike similar tags out there, this one also has a scan code on the back of the tag for even more information about where your dog is and whom to contact when found. CONS There’s only one that I can see straight away as I’ve only just received it: just about everything about the website. It is super confusing and difficult to tell if the information as been properly uploaded. I wish the photos were sized to fit the window when they are being uploaded rather than requiring upload-resize-replace-review-repeat until the photos fit well in the window. I wish there was a way to see what the finder sees as one uploads all the information.”

Came in velvet bags so they were all in mint condition. The quality is beyond anything I could have asked for. The pictures are perfect and clear as is the writing. My one dog managed to lose his on day 1, but when I mentioned that to the customer service (they msgd days after I recieved items to make sure I was Satisfied with their product) they sent me a new one immediatly free of charge. It is so easy to set up and gives you so much space to write important information. It is super super easy to scan and it immediatly sends you all the info seconds after the scan has been done. This product is Genius!!! And has put my mind at ease as we have foster dogs. GREAT PRODUCT BEYOND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!

Takes a while to get them sent, but the quality is very good and they are waterproof (As far as dogs swimming go). The website works well and is simple to use.

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von den MYLUCKYTAG Personalisierte Haustier ID Tags! Die Möglichkeit, eine individuelle Hundemarke mit QR-Code zu erhalten, ist super praktisch. Es gibt meinem Haustier eine zusätzliche Sicherheitsebene, da im Falle eines Verlusts schnell das Online-Profil aufgerufen werden kann. Besonders toll finde ich, dass man beim Scannen des QR-Codes eine Standort-Alert-E-Mail erhält – das gibt mir ein gutes Gefühl, falls mein Hund mal wegläuft. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und die Personalisierungsmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig. Insgesamt eine tolle Investition für jeden Tierbesitzer, der sein Haustier bestmöglich schützen möchte!
