These cookies have been a great part of my childhood and a the go to cookies when someone comes over for tea. I recently bought them in the UAE from Amazon and these biscuits were stale, as if they were one month old and left drying up in the open air. After a few days in the metal box, the cookies were dry and no longer edible. Will try different brands now.

It was very tough and unpleasant with a metallic taste. Unfortunately nonrefundable I threw them all away.

I bought 2 for 2 weeks. But I just finished 1 whole box within an hour 🥹

Always very good butter cookies... I give this tin to my husband every Christmas so it's now our tradition... even though I also make an incredible shortbread with Toblerone chunks to enjoy and give away to friends and neighbours.
