Omg, I Loved This Fan!
This fan seriously moves air like crazy—and it’s cute, too! We used it all the time and were so bummed to leave it behind during our last move. Definitely planning to buy another. It’s powerful, stylish, and totally worth it!

nice looking fan; terrible packaging!
i read the other reviews and saw the terrible pics posted and felt they didn’t do the fan justice.this fan is a really nice fan, it’s not as quiet advertised which is a good thing for me. i need a fan with a loud wind speed to drown out other noises because i’m such a light sleeper. the wood is raw with no finish so you can stain or paint it any color you like, like i did. i chose a dark stain which makes all the chrome pop.my issue and its big issue is the packaging or lack there of. mine was shipped in only the fans box. the fan box was in rough shape like a soggy diaper. the hardware was hanging out of the box i was lucky that they didn’t get lost and the some of the silver hardware was bent but not too bad where it wasn’t fixable. there was no directions either. i had to look at the advertisement pics to know how to put the tripod together. other than that it’s a great timeless looking fan.

It’s possible this is a scam
Just like multiple other reviewers, I too received a COMPLETE MESS. I started to blame amazon for the disastrous re-packing because it was all just thrown in the box with the nuts and bolts *scattered everywhere*. But reading other reviews it seems this is a trend for this particular product and comes from the seller in such a state. There was also a hole in the bottom of the box and, shocker, it’s totally missing a nut AND bolt. And these pieces are tiny. For them to not be properly secured makes me think this is just a scam. These things appear to be made for $3.50 and sold for $90. All VERY CHEAP parts. The stick-on decal for the fan speeds is already peeling at the corners. The Tripod legs are put together using very loose bolts and very thin metal. It’s all so precarious.I was so excited to get this because the style is super unique, but for $90 I would expect Vornado-like quality and respectful packaging. And the installation guide. My god I think it’s the worst product manual I’ve ever received. Absolutely no brand name on the manual, no manufacturer, and zero information about the motor. Not even a “made in”. The tiny, black and white photos accompanying the worthless instructions, don’t even match the actual fan.LOL at this point. Even if I had all the parts to put it together, I would have negative confidence that the entire thing wouldn’t fall apart or short out and set my house ablaze. It would make me anxious just looking at it.Highly do not recommend.UPDATE: because I like projects, I ended up assembling the entire thing using spare parts I had in my tool box. And then, *THE MOTOR FRIED AFTER 12 MINUTES OF USE*. Seriously. I’m sitting on the couch admiring my ingenuity and considering keeping it after all the work I put into it - probably 2 solid hours to get it set up - and the motor fails in such a spectacular fashion that the dog freaks out and I dive for the cord to disconnect it from the wall. I was furious. This thing was cursed from the beginning. What a horrible experience.

Attractive and useful
I like that this fan has no little lights and that it oscillates and is height adjustable. It's not super loud, either. It did take some time to assemble. Need to be sure to tighten the screws/nuts. There is one screw that goes behind one of the plastic dial attachments and I could not get that to stay in place because the plastic dial will not fit if the screw is not flush. But it doesn't seem necessary. I removed the silver pieces at the base of the wood legs to make it more minimal. I wish the metal pieces between the tripod legs were thinner or wood, but I can likely replace those.

Fan has quirks that can be very annoying
The fan hesitates at level 1 and level 2. It spins once, hesitates then spins, hesitates again etc. Level 3 works fine. This fan does oscillate. It does have a decent breeze.

Simple and perfect
I really like this fan! I seriously spent hours browsing looking for something simple yet maybe a little more industrial style than a typical work fan or one of the million boring fans we are used to looking at. I’m happy to have spent the time looking because this fan is probably the best I could find under $500.I would it a 5/5, except as seen in one of the photos I posted, the fan was a little bent upon arrival (probably shipping damages). I was able to hammer the piece out and still assemble it though, so I’m happy with the product.Instructions were not the most clear, but it was easy enough to assemble and probably took me 10 minutes total. I am not a do it yourselfer, so I’d consider it easy to assemble for anyone.Fan also does exactly as it should and creates cold wind. 0, 1, 2, & 3 for speed options on a knob to the back of the fan. Also flexible positioning with the tripod and the main part of the fan being able to be tipped this way and that to whatever direction you would like it to blow. Plugs into an outlet for power.I hope this helps someone! I’m happy with the product 🙃
