Yep, there sharper and they last longer
First let me say you want the sharpest blade you can find, that is how to get a close shave with little aggravation to the skin. I have been shaving for 45 + years. I used to use a brush and soap but about 10 years ago I started shaving in the shower. The best time to shave is when you have had the hot water on your face the for the longest time. If I wait even a few minutes after the shaving goes down a notch. I have used many different blades over the years, they were all made in the U.S. back then. Then came plastic and cartridge razors. I don't like the idea of throwing away a plastic handle for every new razor. The cartridge razors got into a pissing war about who has the most blades. You only need 1. Any more is just a waste. I had bought a huge stock of persona a few years ago. I was running out and could not find any de blades at my store so started looking on-line. I first bought 100 Astra razors made in Russia. They are solid razors that are hard to beat for the price. I had read about feathers and a few other razors.I have a area under my chin that grows different ways and is hard to shave and get smooth. While I can do this with most razors it took some work. The Feathers do this much better and last longer. They cost twice as much or more than say Astra. So they need to last twice as long in my mind. And they do last about twice as long.I also have a large collection of vintage razors. Who would of thought a razor I used many years ago would become popular again. Since shaving can become boring I change every so often. I had also bought some Pol silver super iridium blades than are even more expensive than the feathers. They are also good but I still prefer the feathers for the price. There are a few more I might have tried but that will wait, I have enough now to last for years. And blades don't seem to get any cheaper. I was not impressed with seller THAI-ETC-SUPPLY. I took longer than 1 month to get them. I buy from all over the world and were the slowest. If your in a hurry you might want them from someone else. But this is about the razor blades. And I have to say after using many different razors for many years the feathers are at the top. They cost more than double than some but I get twice as many shaves. The are covered in some kind of goo,Don't wipe off the blade because that wipes off the slick surface that helps you get a good shave. I think it helps protect the razor itself from rust and crude from the blade. Most safety razors are made from brass and don't rust but the blade can. I like them enough that I bought another 100. If you find them to aggressive you might want a older Gillette razor with 9 settings. This can give a choice of settings to try. And I also have a new Edwin Jagger De89lbl Double Edge Safety Razor you can get here at Amazon. A truly beautiful jewelery like razor for less $ than many others. It works quite well with the Feathers. Too bad you have to buy de razors on line and all I can find at the store are what I call clown razors, the ones with a zillion blades. And don't be afraid of sharp razors blades, be afraid of dull ones. There the ones that are hard on your skin

They claim they are the sharpest on the market, believe them.
These are really super sharp blades. Makes for a really close shave. Mine came in the display case which was nice. They come in a plastic pack of 5 which has a place to dispose of the used blades. My only complaint is they are individually wrapped in waxed paper. This makes things a little dicey unwrapping them since they are so very sharp. I don't understand why they need to be wrapped since they are in a plastic case to begin with. Better be stone cold sober and not in a rush or you will slice your finger tips off when changing blades. The company would have been better off just shrink wrapping the plastic cases if they are concerned about the blades rusting. Probably would save them money in the process. But when it's all said and done these are quality blades and give me a nicer shave than some much more expensive German blades I've tried. So far I've gotten 4 shaves out of one blade and counting, not even a hint of dulling yet. Very pleased with my purchase. Update finally retired my first blade today. I shave just my neck and use a good quality shave soap and let it work before shaving and I got an amazing 12, 2 pass shaves out of a single blade. 24 days it took to dull this blade, outstanding. Doing the math assuming I'll get this much performance out of each blade, this one purchase of blades will last me just over 6 and a half years. Now what to buy with all the money I'm saving? Lol Update June 12. It's been 6 months since I bought these little gems. I have since started using noxzema as a base for my regular shave soap. I allow it to soften my beard for a couple of minutes as I'm preparing mug soap then apply that on top of the noxzema then shave it off rinsing off after every stroke. And I have about a month ago switched to a van dike so I'm shaving more of my face now and I just retired my 5th blade tonight. Yes that's right one blade is now lasting longer than a month using the noxzema. Now doing the math the remaining 95 blades should last at least 8 years. Take that high priced multi blade cartridge systems. Buy these blades then buy the noxzema deal amazon sells along with your favorite mug soap. You won't be disappointed I promise you.

Best blades I have ever tried
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have tried a large variety of blades from an assortment retailer, these Feather blades are by and far my favorite brand of blade to use. They seem to stay sharp for a much longer period of time than any other brand of blade and are much sharper than many right out of the pack. Shave quality: Excellent Value for money: these are a fair price for what you receive. Sharpness: Excellent sharpness

These blades are sharp and they're great. I have thick and heavy whiskers and get a weeks worth of shaves from one blade. Make sure you get the angle right and hold the shaving handle lightly to allow the blade to do its work. You won't be sorry with the results.
