I fitted two of these now and I can say for myself very happy and good value for money

I was intending on installing this in the radio of a 1981 Honda civic to retain the classic feel of it. Prior to installing this, I could pick up maybe 3-4 stations out of which 1 or 2 were clear enough. Unfortunately after installing this I shortly had one radio station, which was short lived and now ive got no stations catching. I believe the AM might have gone dead completely. I noticed when I speed up the volume turns up automatically to a very loud level. also when I switch the high beams on I get a click sound

I don't usually write reviews however I feel this needs one, I have a 1960s classic car and haven't been able to get any radio at all, tried a new head unit, a new aerial and still nothing, thought I would try this as a last ditch attempt and now I can pick up every single station, took 5 minutes to crimp in.I'm not saying it will work for everybody as every car is different. however in my situation its worked a charm.

Easy to fit in line with the antenna. Does make a small difference in the quality of the signal but I probably wouldn’t buy it again had I known what the outcome would be.

I replaced another amp with this one and the radio reception was vastly improved in my transit van. Simple to fit (less than 10 minutes) and ve3ry good value for money.
