This is more Blue midnight. If you want black take something else.

I have dark brown hair that's turning white, especially around my part and face. It grows so fast that professional coloring costs a fortune, and home coloring was drying it out, so I thought I'd try this. This is the Spiced Cognac. I just did it a few hours ago: I shampooed my hair really well, towel dried, applied this and wrapped it in saran wrap for 2 hours, then rinsed and conditioned. This was easy to apply and rinsed out easily. My hair isn't dry like after permanent dye. I don't know how long this will last, I'll try to update the review. This color is too copper for my hair, but if I was less gray I think the highlights would be great. I only used half the bottle. I'm going to try a darker color next time, but I'm wondering if I can use this shade also and create highlights. I will use this again, just in a darker shade. I might update to 5 stars depending on how long it lasts and if the color changes.

I really love this hair color so much! It’s great at covering grays and takes really well and it actually feels like it nourishes and conditions my hair. Will purchase again and again. Highly recommend!Update: I do love the color this provides, but it makes my hair shed like crazy! I can’t continue use.

I purchased this item thinking I was ordering one bottle. I received SIX bottles! Definitely worth the money; I guess I'll have this hair color for a while! Lol!

Nice price and quick shipping, but I hate how the product leaves residue on my hands when I scratch my head. I’ve washed my hair more than 10 times in 3 weeks.
