I recommend these watercolors, they have a nice bright colors, and for the price!, I couldn't ask for more.

These are truly excellent, fun to play use watercolors, in an ingeniously designed palette. They’re better than any other student/budget set I’ve tried, (incl Superior and Pretty Excellent, which are quite good) and I think in terms of richness and handling characteristics of pigment are edging into the artist grade. Yes, really. Miya’s making good paints here. Something I look for is a good range of blues and purples, with an ability to go really dark in a mix for value contrast. This set has that. Also, there are no “dud” colors; every paint is richly pigmented. Nice burnt sienna and earth color range (better than Paul Rubens) and the reds/pinks are great! The palette itself is aesthetically-pleasing plastic (and I don’t like plastic, but this is cool) and the trapezoidal pan shape allows you to get paint on your brush with less harmful impact on the brush in comparison to a standard square/rectangular half-pan. You have more room corner-to-corner in the trapezoid, so it’s somewhat like getting paint from a full pan—almost. I bought the set in white, and the white plastic is actually a nice palette for mixing. You just pick up the clear, molded plastic tray that holds all the paint pans, place the tray to the side, and then bingo, you can mix colors on the smooth white, slightly recessed (no spills!) and flat surface that held the WC clear tray. I have also securely placed the paint tray in the lid while mixing, when footprint was a concern. I really don’t think any of this is too fragile to be moved like this. So if you want a built-in mixing surface, buy the white palette version. The only shortfall I can think of is a lack of pigment info on the swatching card because everything is in Chinese. If only they had translated!!! I highly recommend this set: to beginners, of course, but also experienced artists who dislike student paints but would like a compact, easy, ridiculously cheap and very fun travel/practice/try-out-cool-stuff set. Practice and plein-aire perfection!

Erstens sind das die perfekten Farben und zweitens habe ich mich in den Pinsel verliebt.Nur dass das Swatch Papier nicht in die Hülle passt und es außerdem keinen Platz zum Mischen gibt, finde ich schade.Aber die Qualität der Farben und des Pinsels sind so überzeugend, dass ich mit den zwei kleinen Kritikpunkten extrem gut leben kann.

Cette palette est vraiment esthétiquement très jolie. Les demi-godets sont un peu plus grand qu’habituellement au vu de leur forme. Les couleurs me font pour certaines penser au Kuretake Gansai Tambi. Je suis vraiment très satisfaite de cette aquarelle. En cadeau un crayon et un pinceau qui est agréable au niveau de l’utilisation. Je ne regrette pas mon achat.Je l’utiliserai pour l’art-thérapie.
