They do not have metal gears in them
It says metal gear servo The part that you see is metal but all the gears inside or plastic but they do work good and they are worth the money they are very affordable

Only 1 metal gear
I've purchased other MG995 servos that advertised metal gears and found all metal gears. This one is advertised as having metal gears but only the visible gear is metal. Had one strip the internal nylon gears on first operation. My fault. But disappointed when I found the problem. Not worth the money.

Not metal gears, fragile servo
Servo stripped out the plastic gears on the first use, skip these servos. The second servo was dead on arrival and would not power up.Would rate zero stars if possible.

Metal gears? Really?
Absolute garbage, was setting steering endpoints with car on stand and wheels off, damn gears still stripped. I even threw the 2nd servo that came with this one in the trash. Wasnt worth the install or my time.

Junk
Advertised as metal gears. Internal gears are all plastic but one. Bought 2. Neither powered up. Stay away total garbage.

Plastic gears, stripped on second use, do not recommend!!!
Used these servos on a printed rc car which is very light, servo gears stripped on second use, plastic gears inside, not metal how advertised... junk.

extremely fragile, likely to fail quickly
Burned out both of the motors in a few seconds. All you have to do is put your finger on the load and the motor will go into overdrive, stripping itself internally (where everything is plastic). Now of course any motor will break if you abuse it, but let me be clear - this motor will fail permanently if anything blocks its motion for just a couple seconds. Even a cheap SG90 does not burn itself out like this.
