Good Sock With Mild Plantar Fasciitis Support
I suffer from intermittent plantar fasciitis, and for those of you who know what that's like, you also understand doing anything reasonable to fix the problem. The Sox MultiSport Plantar Fasciitis Crew Compression Sock is a comfortable sock that is good for all day use: I have white ones that I run and work out in and black ones I wear to work. They are all synthetic and manufactured in Italy, and have lasted well in my experience. The real issue here is the name...I don't really think of these as a true compression sock; they are much less constricting than typical compression socks, and if you are expecting that, you will be surprised. These are more like ordinary athletic socks with minor compression in the midfoot region. They will not cure plantar fasciitis, but they do make the pain more manageable and less severe while wearing them. They are treated with silver DryStat, so they dry quickly and resist odor. These are high quality but expensive socks. If you suffer from plantar fasciitis by all means buy a pair and see if they help (they do help me), just remember they aren't as supportive as some other more conventional compression socks.

My Favorite Compression Sporty Sock
I have tried multiple brands of sport compressions socks and these are my favorite. When new they are very comfortable under foot. When they get old they get thin under foot and are less comfortable. Compression is always good, doesn't stretch-out. Not too hot. Longevity is better than I experienced with other compression sport socks. I wear these for non-sports as tops are black. Wish they were less expensive.

I love everything about "SOX" but the color choices
I love everything about "SOX" but the color choices. I am a 70 year old Type II diabetic, female and for seven months, I have been under Doctor's follow up care for a staph wound on the side of my leg, that would that would not heal. Compression stockings were strongly recommended at every visit to the Doctor and I measured carefully and dutifully paid large sums of money for stockings, from various sources that were just too uncomfortable to wear. In May, I placed my first order for "Sox Sport Plantar Fasciitis Arch Support Ped Compression Socks,White/Pink, Medium (Pad)" and in June I purchased 3 more pairs of the low cuts and a single pair of the crew length. The foot and ankle compression is fantastic and given me noticeable relief from the pain/swelling in my ankle. I just wish I could obtain this EXACT product in a neutral color.

Good, but not for narrow feet.
As others have stated, if you have narrow feet these socks will not be tight enough to do as well as they should. The socks did seem to help somewhat anyway. They are not for just running around the house in stocking feet...they are too slippery on wood floors. The socks have a "perfumey" smell which lessens after you wash them. Overall these will help with your foot pain, especially if you wear them consistently. If you have narrow feet, you might want to consider something else. It would be helpful if the manufacturer made more exact sizes.

OUTSTANDING RELIEF ~ I WORK ALL DAY
Ongoing foot troubles led me to this sock. A few reviews were bad, but I don't think those people bought the size they needed. these are a bit tight to get on, but once on, are very comfortable with just the right compression for me. I wear women's size 8.5W shoe, and it is hard to find compression socks that are not too tight on my wide feet. These are perfect, and I even wear them to bed for my restless leg syndrome as well as the plantar.I cannot say enough good things about these, other than I bought a pair for my neighbor, and she loves them as much as I.

Good running socks + not so good compression = medium recommendation
These socks fall right in the neutral zone. Compared to other running socks, i.e. all those other cotton/blendy/wicking things co-mingling in our drawers, they're terrific. When it comes to compression, however, they're mediocre. They certainly fit nicely and feel good on a run; they don't bunch or slide around, they hug your feet and ankles well, and the padding is pretty good, noticeable but not bulky. They also feel durable, like the stretch will last for a while. The trouble is, they don't do what I bought them for, and that's to give me a good squeeze while I'm running. To be fair, I could probably size down and get more of that, but according to the sizing chart, I'm a large--9.5. A medium might work, but the large is just right re. heel to toe length and fit. So do I send them back? That depends on whether I consider them really good running socks (keep them) or real compression socks (return them). Next to my 2XUs, these don't compare. I just wish 2XU made a crew sock. Three stars is the most I can give. Maybe you'll like them more than I do, but for the price and function, these ain't my glass slippers.

These are amazing!. I've tried other socks that claim they help symptoms of plantar fasciitis, but they have been a waste of money...until now. Fact--as soon as I put them on, I felt relief. They are very comfortable. Fact-- I didn't want to take them off, and literally stood at the dryer after washing them the first time, because I couldn't wait to wear them again. Not cheap, but worth every penny! I just ordered 4 more pairs of them.
