Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 (300 Grams) (Blue Raspberry)

I bought this because I sit at desk for about 50 hours a week, so I was worried about a blood clot or heart issue forming, and getting tired of having cold feet all the time. This stuff fixed that, and made me feel better in general. The value is excellent and breaks down to about 50 cents a day at my rate of consumption. It's super convenient and easy to use (I keep the tub on my desk and drop a scoop in when I fill a fresh bottle with water), and quenches my thirst better than any sports drink, hydration packet, Pedialyte, or water in any form ever has. It's INSANELY delicious! It makes my toes curl, and I'm not kidding. I wish everything tasted like it. I've never had anything that tasted better. When I wake up in the morning, it's one of the first things I think about. When I lie in bed at night, I stare at it sitting atop the desk across my room, and think, 'I should just have a little sip. That'll be okay, right? Why not? One little sip never hurt anybody—' then my responsible side, the one that thinks things through and is always a day late and naked because it got robbed again, chimes in, 'WAIT!!! You've had four scoops today; drinking too much gives you heartburn AND poo-poo tummy! You know this already because you found out the hard way, many times!' It's gotten easier to resist with time, but it's still not easy. Its texture is as smooth can get, and it mixes and dissolves in seconds. I've never drank it from a glass, or as concentrated as the instructions on the tub recommend, so I can only speak for the way I do it: I fill 64-ounce bottles, 1/3 filled with water, and frozen, in my freezer. I take one out, add water, drop a scoop or two in, then I'm set for a few hours. I've never had a hard chunk floating around in it. If I drop a scoop in and don't shake it up right away, it still dissolves quickly. I've even gotten the scooper wet a few times, which caused hard little chunks to form and cling to it, so I just broke them off, dropped them in, and even those dissolved in just a few minutes.

This is my second order of Nutricost L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 (Blue Raspberry), and I’m still just as impressed as the first time. The taste is awesome — it’s actually helped me ditch soda, which I never thought I’d say! I feel great when I take it, especially before workouts, and I’ve noticed better energy and endurance without any weird crashes. The blue raspberry flavor is smooth and not overly sweet, which makes it easy to drink daily. Five stars all the way — this one has definitely earned a spot on my regular supplement shelf!

I didn’t think about how big this tub was until it arrived—158 servings is no joke! But considering the price, it’s a fantastic deal. I’m not worried about freshness either; I transfer a small amount into a separate container for daily use, so the main supply stays sealed and protected. Now, the flavor—wow. I got the Blue Raspberry, and it completely transformed my (yuck)strawberry protein shake. It tastes like punch now, and I genuinely look forward to it every day. Nutricost has been solid in my experience! I prefer to take L-Citrulline over L-Arginine, but occasionally I will take both. The scoop size on this is a good medium/ small size. Packs good flavor in your choice of either blue raspberry or strawberry kiwi. Both are accurate flavors and very good. This Nutricost l-citrulline most definitely works as a vasodilator! I normally pretty tough on the effectiveness of products and I will tell you I have noticed a difference in helping improve blood flow and give a good pump. I sometimes makes my scoop with Gatorade, (Cool Blue Gatorade is a perfect match) other times I will mix it with water. No sugar, no calories! It does contain some sucralose like almost every other powder out there to help sweeten the flavor. It's actually sweeter than I thought it would be so if you are sensitive to that I would recommend mixing with a full bottle of water, ( At least 16.9 oz Dasani or regular size bottled water) If you are not sensitive to a somewhat sweet flavor, mix it with Gatorade like I do. I will continue to purchase in the future. Cheers!
