Excellent handmade coat
I really wanted to buy this one finally I got it. The arm length is too long for me but quality and price can't complain.

Too small and skimpy.
I loove overcoat so was really looking forward to getting this. Honestly I am disappointed. It's too small and skimpy. I like a coat to wrap all around me and thus one fails unfortunately.

Extremely sophisticated
This coat fit both a 40R and even fit a 42L in our family. It is a thin overcoat, so don't expect it to offer a ton of warmth. What it DOES do is give the wearer an extremely sophisticated aura; when my son put this on for a Christmas Eve performance, we all swooned. He transformed an ordinary pair of dress pants and button-down shirt into exquisite apparel worthy of a black-tie event. This overcoat looks deceptively simple, but the lines are clean and elegant. It doesn't necessarily look fancy, but it wears well.It is unlined, so when I first encountered it, I was puzzled. My first response was, "What?" I handled it uneasily, because I wasn't convinced that an unlined overcoat was a good idea at ALL. However, I am completely won over. The fact that it IS unlined doesn't mean that it doesn't fit well, or bulges in strange places, or looks unusual. Actually, it is listed as slim fit, and it is. It hugs the body, and doesn't add bulk. At first appearance, it looks modern, with noticeable seams, and large, prominent pockets. However, once it is on, it has a very classic look and appeal, with a form-fitting design and wool-blend material.I recommend this highly. I was very pleasantly surprised, and this coat looks GREAT.

Pass
Collects hair the moment you put it on. Unlined so it’s incredibly itchy. It’s unstructured. It looks so casual that it appears to be a robe at a glance. It’s not a good look.

Ready for Bit Part on "Suits" Moderately "warm," with enough pockets for the 2020's
QUICK Good semi-formal styling and enough pockets for the Gadget Era. "Harvey, how do I look now?"FITI'm (currently) 5'10.5" and 167 lb. The jacket is listed as "slim," and except for the sleeves, it didn't seem very "slim." I'd rate it as somewhere between regular and slim, but with a cut and design suitable for a bit part on "Suits" (USA Networks).Somehow the definition of slim is creeping upward, sort of like "compact car" and "compact SUV." The upwardly bulbous trend of affluence?PROThe styling is understated, but in a good way, and the DKNY brand is sorta cool - for some folks, anyway. You can wear pretty much anything beneath it.Cautiously optimistic about the stitching at the bottom of the overcoat and at the end of the sleeves. Also, buttons will be something to watch; it's so common that designers should supply a half dozen of replacements to buyers. The pockets!CONWind chill? Think twice about this overcoat unless you've got a sweater over regular suit jacket beneath it. (If that's your plan, be advised of this when choosing a size; the under-suit will call for a slightly larger size). Not sure if the pockets will hold up to frequent glove-stuffing.RECOMMENDEDI might not grab this coat when the wind chill is below, say, 25 F, because it's just not thick or protective enough. But that leaves a substantial temperature range, and this overcoat is perfect above that -- if you're a bit of a formalist. (By "formalist," we mean someone who's more Prolog than Java.)Be sure to get it with a return policy. For gift-givers, the super-casual generation that has taken the "business casual" ball and run with it may not be comfortable in this -- stylistically. But tastes vary, and change over time.

Not for the coldest days, but stylish and functional
I'm a big fan of camelhair and really like this coat. The simple lines are stylish and classic, though I guess that part of it is all in the eye of the beholder. What I like:-Interior pockets have a waterproof lining.-Two interior and two exterior pockets.-When worn with a suit coat and a scarf, this will get you through most winter days down to 20 degrees.-It isn't bulky, so you can easily throw it over your arm if you get warm.-Even with my love handles, it looks smooth. What I don't like:-The internal and external pockets are on top of each other, so if you have stuff in both pockets, it is a bit bulky.-I prefer to have at least one pocket a little higher, similar to a suit coat. But that's just preference-The internal part of the coat is the same as the external fabric, which is not what the product picture looks like. The picture on the product page shows a plaid pattern inside the coat, which would look sharp. This looks a little weird.-The tag on the collar just says "Made in China." There is no label tag, which is weird.

Great fashionable jacket
Gave this jacket to my Husband for his birthday and he said I did good! It's lightweight, comfortable and very stylish .Button closure and works with any outfit he wears or jeans.

Returned
Very thin material, would not have kept me warm at all, and small for the labeled size. Returned it.
