This is a good book to get started and shaving cream and soap making plenty of instructions in detail right along with recipes and so forth Worth the money great book highly recommend or if you're not sure you could always check a free version of Google Books of this author

5 for the content of the book2 for the actual printingThe paper and ink in this book are no better than you'd print off a home inket printer, maybe even worse.It's a short book too so the publisher must have saved maybe 30 cents per copy or something.Plus this book is for soap making, and I'll never be able to actually have it open around a soap work station as a single drip of liquid would probably completely ruin it.

I have never made shaving soap using this method, so this is new for me. I have made cold processed bars before and I really like them, but this is just another new way to try making soap. The book is easy to read and though smaller, it has information to help the newbie as well as seasoned soapers. I like the ideas for recipes provided and I believe this will be a good addition to my soap-making library.

The information on this book is good enough for the beginner soap makers. But if you had spent time on the internet and check other free sources about hot process soaps and especially shaving soaps, big chance that you ve already known more than this book. Better be look out information on soap making groups and forums.

I've been looking for some nice recipes for making real shaving soap. This book is a very useful starting point. There are a number of recipes using a variety of ingredients. There is the usual basic/background information for an absolute beginner, but I would have liked to see some information on each recipe about how it performs. Its a small paperback book, overpriced in my opinion but a worthwhile addition to my resource library.

Lots of good information not often found in book form. I’ve used her shaving soaps and they are excellent.

This is a book that everybody who wants to make shaving soap should have, very easy to understand and a lot of information to guide you through the process. I recommend it already to all my Soaper friends.

This book is for novice soap makers or someone who has never made any soap and wants to make shaving soap. Some one like a wet shaving hobbyist.

I enjoyed this book but I am someone who likes pictures to go along any recipe book. This book doesn't have much visual... I was also looking to learn something new but I didn't. I guess it's great for someone new at making shaving soap.

Probably the only book focusing on shaving soaps. Really helpful and a great step to introduce someone to artisan shaving soap production.

A little bit light on information but useful for the recipe. There is 28 pages of information and 10 recipes. I think it's worth less than the regular asked price.
