Is this price seriously for one can?

Yes, but one very large can. Using liquid measure, it is just under 1 gallon. They do sell cheaper at a "wholesale restaurant" store. But you need a license to buy there. I tried many "made in Italy" tomato cans, from local stores, but they did't come close. These are the best tomatoes I have ever tasted and I have no association with the company. You can't just eat one, right out of the can! So far, I've ordered a total of 6 big cans! I learned about these tomatoes from my deceased brother, who, while living on Long Island, NY, was very "into" making the best homemade pizza. He got advice from the experts. Made the best pizza sauce. RE: Bogus reviews - There is no possible way someone can give 1 or 2 or even 3 stars, for this great food, unless they have an alternative agenda. Ignore those posts. Very competitive out there.

They are packed by Stanislavsky Food Products in Modesto, CA. It didn’t say on can if boa free - call 1-800-987-9670 and ask. Best canned tomatoes I’ve ever used. I get the at Restaurant Depot

They make different tomato products. There is an 800 phone number on the can label - you may want to call that number and ask the representative. I worked a block away from this cannery. It’s the largest tomato processing plant in the world. Tremendously flavorful tomatoes!
