This was a gift for my daughter who is going into private consulting. This is among the most elegant, classy, and unique portfolios I've ever seen and my daughter loves it! It is real leather and looks hand-crafted! For those who would like to add a three-ring mechanism, I think there is enough space to add a small one, perhaps no more than 1/4 inch; not sure that this portfolio can take 1/2 inch and still fold properly. I highly recommend this portfolio: unique, classy, and more than worth the price.

Received today, order arrived quickly. I love it. It is beautiful, added a 1/2 inch binder mechanism using brass rivets and it's perfect now to organize my meeting notes, the exiting pockets are great for misc items. It does have an slight odor from the leather stain which Is I am certain will dissipate over time. Very happy with this purchase!
