2.1X Eschenbach Max TV Glasses Distance Viewing by MAGNIFYING AIDS

I purchased these glasses for my mom as an early Mothers Day gift. My mom's very favorite past-time is watching movies, binge watching Series', etc.... Imagine suddenly (due to advancing Macular Degeneration) having issues with sight that even turning on closed caption doesn't help. She could no longer "read" about a movie via the Info button - she just had to start watching. And then, it was blurry. She used the magnifying glass that I also bought for her to read the instructions on how to adjust each lens. Within minutes, she was watching TV again in HD (she said). She said the TV was as big as the wall and crisp and clear. I'm sure it was already in HD but had been so blurry to her before. I'm saddened that her retina specialist didn't tell us about these glasses. We even asked! I just happened upon them while looking to order a large sized magnifying glass for her. She will be 84 this year. She no longer drives so is homebound unless I'm able to go get her. These glasses are a true God send!

Enlargement is so minimal you can’t even tell. Plus the lenses are plastic and it’s cloudy when you look through it.

Bought for my father who is 90 and has macular. After reading other reviews, we thought this may help him see tv better again, in fact a local low vision center recommended these to him for TV. We followed instructions carefully but after several tries, he said the improvements were minimal. They did somewhat magnify the field of view. But we were hoping it might help with clarity as well. It did not. So what he was able to see was bigger, but as he said, " instead of blurry things, they're just now big blurry things"Also had they worked, I could tell it was only a matter of time before they broke. Surprised that for the price, everything other than the two set of lenses is actually plastic.

When accidentally dropped on carpet from my chair (18"), the lense parts breaks away from the front sides of the glasses.Complicated to put back on and becomes harder to adjust lenses. Also the ear pieces loosen up after wearing a few times and fall off easily when you nod or bend your head downFrustrating. I'm on my 3rd pair.

Pero al menos, mi mamá está super contenta. Ella tiene 77 años, una alta graduación de miopía y astigmatismo, también tiene catarata en ambos ojos y una lesión en la retina desde niña. A pesar de que usas lentes de contactos duros y espejuelos, ya no ve bien el televisor y estas gafas lupas son una bendición para ella. Gracias, Gracias, Gracias 🙏

My father-in-law has wet macular degeneration, could barely see the tv. These glasses have made it much better.

Very cheap construction. Plastic hinges. Arms break at hinge easily. Would pay more for better quality as these glasses really help the visually impaired. They do not stand up to normal use. I messaged to see if we could get repaired and no response so zero customer service.
