Yum!
I love these bars. They taste great, which is helpful. They are also very filling. These make a pretty good stand-alone breakfast for me - great for days when I'm in a hurry and want to munch in the car or at the office. You might be surprised - it's kind of small compressed square of oats 'n stuff but contains 6 g of protein. Most of the ingredients are organic which is a great bonus for me. The reason I sought these bars is because I'm trying to beef up my soluble fiber through foods like oatmeal. Unfortunately the package doesn't list the soluble fiber content but with the main ingredient being oats, I'd like to think it has at least some :) and 4 g of fiber over all so not bad.

Yummy
I tried my first Earnest Eats bar at the gym, because I wanted something with protein after a workout. It was so yummy, I had to try and find my own supply. They charge $3 ea for them at my gym, but they come out a little over a dollar buying them from Amazon. Well worth it.If you like peanut butter, the choco peanut butter will probably be your favorite, like it is mine. I've tried the almond one too, and that one was only about 50% as good, in my opinion. They definitely fill you up for several hours. And they taste like a treat, not some flavorless power bar! And they're all natural and whole food, so very nutritious. It is pretty calorie dense for such a small bar, but those calories are full of nutrients and will keep you satisfied for way longer than a low fat/diet bar will. All in all, I definitely recommend.

One of the best 'breakfast' bars I have tried
I bought these primarily as a breakfast bar rather than as a snack food, but they can be used as both. These taste wholesome. I do very much enjoy the taste, I have really savored the taste on every bar. There is not cloying sweetness masking everything else and a very wholesome taste.I also really like the texture. In size these are small bars. But they eat larger than their size. They have a good amount of (pleasant) chewiness to them and the overall texture encourages you to eat slowly. Overall very tasty, good nutrition compared to other breakfast/snack bars, recommended.

Pretty good, not great, but pretty good
I'm always trying to eat healthier and much to the detriment of my wallet I am consistently ordering these expensive products online to sample. Because healthy food cost more than junk food (and wonder why the nation's obese) it is difficult pulling the when something looks good but cost so much. Well, I took the plunge and pulled the trigger on these Earnest Eats as they were well reviewed and had healthy ingredients. The conclusion was a good one. Not a great one. But a good one. The bars themselves are generous in size, very flavorful, and most importantly, not hard as a brick. My only qualm is that I don't really care for the Cran Lemon Zest flavor; however, that's no knock on Earnest Eats, as I am just not big on cranberry and lemon products in general. With this flavor I had a coupon and the cost decreased so much that I couldn't pass it up. I am sure I will enjoy there other flavors which I am more partial too. But lovers of cran/lemon flavor would love these bars. My only other issue is price. I mean, $1.25 per bar? Really? I guess you get what you pay for, but dang if it isn't a kick in the gut.

So delicious with the perfect amount of chocolate
These choco peanut butter bars are delicious and perfectly filling. I got these to eat for breakfast and as an occasional snack. I don't know about the other flavors yet but this one is really tasty and a great texture. It has some chocolate chips in it but not too many. It has just enough to satisfy that chocolate craving or sweet tooth. Now that I've tried these and love them, I definitely plan on trying the other flavors although I can't imagine any of them being as good as this one. If you like peanut butter or peanut butter items with some chocolate, you should try this. I love them.Update: I just got the Almond Trail Mix ones and while they are good, these choco peanut butter ones are so much better.

Smaller bars, New nutritional info, & Other information
Great tasting bars - we eat them when we crave something a bit sweet. I don't believe these bars are necessarily "good for you" or suitable as a meal replacement. However, they are a healthy alternative to packaged bakery items, cookies or candy. The bars now are smaller in weight - from 61g to 54g. As a result, the nutritional information has changed but Amazon's website has not - I have posted the new nutritional information as a customer image & hope it helps someone. This change occurred a couple years ago. We've recently noticed a change in volume as well. Our latest shipment of bars is smaller - the box & package is the same, but the bar itself is smaller but with no change in weight (still 54g). I did not notice a change in taste but the texture seemed smoother. I'm not sure why these bars are smaller than previous batches. Is it a change in recipe? A quality control issue? A new ingredient? Don't know. What I do know is that I just ate a bar with yogurt, which is typical for me, and unfortunately I have to report that this snack is not as filling as before. My DH also noticed that the bar was less filling. I think something is different about the bars once again, but exactly what it is I don't know quite yet.I'm a Weight Watcher with life-time status. I look for high-volume, filling foods to maintain my weight. At one time, the Earnest bar once one of them. It's quickly falling off my list of favorite, go-to food items.
