The veho light strip is pretty awesome, super bright. The cheaper lightstrips with the remotes start to suck a bit after a while. Bluetooth that works ok or a tiny cheap remote that barely works.. hmm, not a tough choice. Being able to turn off lights from bed is nice.The veho app is just ok(iphone se, 6s, old and newer android), it is poorly designed(partial color wheel control?!, connectivity issues unless you learn how to “tweak” it, etc..This company doesnt have a clue about QC..2 out 6 products i got from them are defective, we still like the ones that work but there are probably better products out there if you want to search.I am using a LG K6 as a dedicated controller for these. I just put it on wall with a magnet.Good job Veho Kasa but now its time to get to work..! Clean up the app. Lets get a full color wheel so a stupid phablet is not a requirement, PLEASE! And get a new QC dept. manager...

When set to the same color as the light strips, it doesn’t match them. So I had to set a separate mood for my lamp. However, that blame primarily falls on the light strips. As should be commonly understood, this brand of lights is generally great in terms of the product, it’s the app that controls them that proves quite user unfriendly.

Not a smart bulb. Just an app-controlled Bluetooth bulb. It’s decent if you’ve ever wanted a fancy lightbulb that you’d use normally with a light switch but could then change the color or power on/off from your phone or essentially do the same with a lamp bulb. If you wanted constant on/off control from your phone you’d be in for a bit of an inconvenience. Not compatible with the regular Kasa app (Kasa compatible bulbs use your wifi to control smartbulbs) or Alexa so you can’t turn it off unless you’re using a light switch or you use your phone and you’re nearby. Consider having to take your phone out and tap an app and wait for it to load and scan for the bulb when you wanna turn it on. Not convenient. Light switches are. Only one phone can be connected at a time. So if you have a wife who wants to use her phone to turn off the bedroom but you’re connected...she is out of luck in the sense that she won’t be able to turn the light off from bed via this app and bulb only.The product description is carefully misleading. Its the type of description that you go back to after being disappointed and you say “ooohhhh. I guess it kinda does say that”. Why call this a smart led bulb when the similar term “smartbulb” is used for WiFi lighting unless you want your product to appear smarter than it is. I don’t believe for a moment that the company isn’t trying to pass this off as a smartbulb since it appears in searches and has a similar description. But don’t be disappointed or fooled it’s not a smart bulb like you’re probably looking for.As the the wide variety of colors they mention, I don’t think your phone is sensitive enough or your eyes capable of seeing more than a minute fraction of that number. Don’t expect to see a wide range of colors in the millions unless they count red or blue as a separate color based on how dimmed the bulb appears like red @100% vs red @ 99%

These SMART LED bulbs are simply amazing. I can make them hundreds of different colors jist by clicking buttons on my smart phone. Setup takes seconds.You can set timers and fancy the occassion like red for christmas. I bought 6 of them for inside and out. Theu last much longee than regular bulbs too. Lastly, you can alter the brightness and style of lighting to be more LED versus more brown light like our old bulbs.

Awesome product, having Alexa compatibility would be nice but still pretty awesome for the price point!

Would have gave it 5 stars, but it does not remember the last color setting. Always comes on a bright white and I have to manually change it to one of my preset colors.

The only bad part of the light was the sticky part on the bottom. Had to use additional adhesive to make it stay. But the colors were great. The interface was user friendly. I wanna buy another set.

This is a decent bulb, however, the app that controls it SUCKS. One of the major problems is that when you add an additional bulb to the app, it "forgets" it. You can't add the new bulb to a group because the newly added bulb isnt listed. What's worse is because the app won't retain the newly added bulb, you can't control either individually. The app randomly will find a bulb to control or none at all and you have to rescan and rescan and rescan - ad nauseum - all for naught. No email to Veho get answered unless it's to their sales department and they don't respond to any feedback on Google Play. This isn't an isolated incident as this criticism is all over Google Play. I put these bulbs in my half bathroom (where I don't need to control lighting) and got the MagicLight Pro (10 watt if it matters) as the app works flawlessly.

Correct Shape of this bulb is G60 and is not standard A19.Just to clarify , The "E26' refers to the screw base only, However the shape of the bulb itself is close to whats called "G60". It may or may not fit your light fixture. Common bulb shapes are A19 or A17.(the neck on this is too thick to fit in many fixtures.)

It's a cool little gadget. I had some issues with wifi until I realized the app to download is not "Kasa", but "Veho Kasa". It works on Bluetooth so keep your Bluetooth switched on. The app is not the best designed, so you'll find the bulbs inside two clicks -- first click on Smart lighting, then on Connected. That'll show the bulb. It's easy colour wheel after that. If the app was better and the instruction of which app to download was very precise (why not include a visual of the App Store on the packaging?) this would get 5 stars from me.

For some reason 1 out of 4 of the bulbs I have keep turning it's self off at a random time and want come back in for a while.Won't even show up on the Kasa lighting app to.

Sadly although these are great I can't get my phone to recognise all 3 bulbs so the group effect I was after does not work. I have trouble connecting to one of the bulbs full stop the other two, one is fab first time the other a bit flake. I. Guessing it too late to return them but you should know my experience. Great lights in white not good as a group and flake to link with phone on two out of three bulbs.

Grungenly given this product 5 stars, yes I got it working, but the cable is super sensitive. The power connector is bloody sensitive. You blow on it and the power goes out. The other negative the power adapter makes a small alarm sound when the brightness is set to a lower setting. I contacted the company's support via email and have not recived a response at all. The sticky backing works well and has not peeled off my kids closet base boards. The app seems to work pretty good with an Apple iPhone
