I didn't see the results promised. The balls did not eliminate all the static the way dryer sheets do. They may have stopped the sheets from balling up, but they got lost in the corners of the fitted sheets. I did not notice any less drying time. I put cheap perfume on the balls, but typical dryer sheets leave more scent. The balls also bang around loudly in the dryer and I wonder if they might unbalance it over time. I used three and that was loud enough. What to do with them now? I gave one to the cats, so I have two used and three more new. Did I miss something? Alternative uses? UPDATE: Lightbulb moment: To refresh dry garments or bedding, place them in the dryer for a short time along with two or three balls lightly soaked in water. This should hold enough moisture to have a steaming effect. It worked for me.

I know this might sound crazy but it seemed like when I used the wool balls, it actually took longer for my clothes to dry. At first I thought it was just a fluke but then I realized that load after load of laundry was still damp when, in the past it would have been dry by then.I really wanted them to work because of the environmental aspect of being safer than using dryer sheets but I ended up returning them. Now, I just add white vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser of the washing machine and no longer need dryer sheets.

Thank Goodness they have found something that will softener our clothes and not be toxic to our water supply. This is the only product I shall ever use. I have MCS so MUST be careful with chemicals. Do you want to try to make our world a safer place then this is one small step that you can do to help.

I got these balls because one of my friend recommended them. My dryers at laundry room keep always wet most of my clothing even when I choose the highest temperature.Using these balls help to save time and money!

After reading other reviews I used these in our dryer with reusable produce bags to prevent getting wool all over everything. These are a great alternative to dryer sheets but I haven’t used them with essential oils yet as others have suggested. There is definitely static cling with these but it’s manageable.

Reduced dry time as promised and clothes are super soft. I have an infant and her skin is super sensitive so these are a great alternative to fabric softener. The only downside is that they don't reduce the amount of lint on the clothing when they come out of the dryer, but you can't have it all.

Not gonna lie - I got these for my dog. She grabbed one out of the laundry basket and loved it so much I got her a 6 pack! She hasn’t destroyed them. Likes the squishability more than tennis balls.

My clothing has a lot of static. Based on the reviews I read I was looking forward to no longer needing to use dryer sheets. Unfortunately since the weather has turned colder, I've had to stop using them and go back to dryer sheets.
