It really works! Good for RO and soft water!
I was really hesitant to get this because I read in some fish groups that this was a waste of money. I have really soft water to the point it is basically RO water so I decided to give this a shot since I have no minerals or nutrients in my water because of my water softener. I use lake cichlid salt to bring up the GH which has improved the health and growth of my tank but was still noticing slow growth and lack of decent color. I tried this product once and my fish have colored up significantly the next day. They have even started breeding. I would definitely recommend this product if your water is very soft. If you have normal water you might not need it or see much of a difference.

Good Price for GH Maintenance Item
I use this in my 55 gallon Mbuna tank. Helps with the general hardness, as I change nine gallons of water each day (tank is overstocked). Use this in conjunction with Cichlid Trace and Cichlid Lake Salt. Fish are happy, healthy and beautifully colored.

An optional choice for dedicated Cichlid keepers
Can I see a difference? No. Does that mean it's not working? No. Does that mean it IS working? No. Will I keep using it? Yeah.I have no idea whether or not this is having any impact at all on my Cichlid tank but I'm going to keep using it anyway as I have fairly soft water and my Tanganyikans probably appreciate the added minerals. If you have harder water and you know there are a lot of minerals in it, you could probably pass? Not like it could hurt, if you have the extra money and want to try it out.
