Valve fans will love
If you like Fallout new Vegas, you'll LOVE this story. The main character is a miracle of nature who has survived and bonded with his radiation, and he uses his gifts to save a pair of kids who were raised in a domed section of Nevada. Gonna buy the sequel when I have spare cash. 10/10

2Thumbs up for Geiger.
I'm onto Junkyard Joe TPB next. Then ummm, not sure yet, but I'm loving the world I'm uncovering. Great power comics.

Tragic Exploration of Fatherhood
Well drawn, with good pacing, this initial arc of Geiger stories does a great job world building and getting you to care about Geiger and the other characters. I haven’t told other people the premise of a comic book more often than I’ve told them how this one starts.

The Unknown
All the Masters of Ghost Machine work on this interesting and very well thought out introduction on the Geiger..Gary Franks art is amazing and Geoff Johns story make this journey into the future 25 years ahead just superlative... Brad Anderson & Rob Leighs colors and letters are also a wonder. If you are getting tired of how many off shots you can siphon of one amazing character started in 1962 aka Spiderman and find it redundant at this point, this new approach will give you some faith in seeing a better produced book to become absorbed into...Its paced quite well and is part of a linear timeline that even goes back to the Redcoats and the revolutionary war... I bought this book and am now having the monthly book in my pull box at the Local comic shop..Very high quality printing, efforts to make that $3.99 seem a bargain, what could be better ?

Just wow!
I don’t know exactly what drew me to this series. Perhaps that first issue with the mushroom cloud cover, perhaps it was reading other people’s reviews, perhaps it was looking at a sample of the first few pages. Maybe just a combination of everything, but one things for certain, this series has not disappointed! Start to finish it was master class story telling. It had a good amount of grit to it without going overboard, plenty of action, never got boring, and even in the slow moments the structure was so good and compelling that I didn’t really want the story to end. And what an ending, literally had me on the edge of my seat, something I hadn’t expected. They did all the things right, and was very good at hitting the right emotions at the right time. I can’t wait to see what else they do in this world.Side note: I read through the 80 page giant special comic. It’s not the same as this Volume 1 (issues 1-6) so don’t go into that with expectations. It’s really it’s own thing of short stories.

A Glowing Superhero Tale
This isn’t going to reinvent the wheel, but Geiger is a fun romp through a nuclear wasteland that can be crushed in a day’s read.
