Don't be cruel to it...
Another potential bag that didn't work out for me, but for others, should be a good weekender bag. Format (pockets, securing personal items) probably works better. Durability is questionable long term, but again, depends on the use case. Looks great.

In love with it.
Overall Incase has been my selection for my work bag, although this one goes above every single piece I have had.

More spacious than it looks!
As a longtime fan of Incase, I've come to expect nothing but the best from this brand, and the A.R.C Daypack certainly does not disappoint. From its inception in the early days of iPhone cases to its current lineup of innovative accessories, Incase has always prioritized functionality, quality, and style—and this backpack is no exception. It also fits way more than you'd think just by looking at it. This is partly because the front unzips almost all the way, so when you open it up it functions much like a small suitcase, rather than a top-loading backpack.I've been using this to travel with my camera gear, and it's perfect to carry onto an airplane. It fits neatly under the seat in front as well as in the overhead compartment with no issues whatsoever. The A.R.C Daypack is the epitome of versatility, seamlessly transitioning from work to play with ease. Crafted from recycled polyester, it's not only environmentally friendly but also lightweight and durable, making it the perfect companion for travel, work, or weekend adventures. As a tech enthusiast, I appreciate the thoughtful design features tailored specifically for my needs. The padded laptop compartment provides ample protection for my MacBook, while the RFID-blocking compartment ensures my digital information stays secure while I'm on the move. But what truly sets this backpack apart is its uncompromised performance. The mixture of recycled polyester and water-repellent coating resists wear and stains, ensuring it looks great trip after trip. Plus, the Ortholite Impressions Foam shoulder straps and ergonomic sternum strap make carrying even heavy loads a breeze, enhancing comfort during my daily commute. In true Incase fashion, every detail has been carefully considered, from the sleek and sophisticated design to the thoughtful AirTag pocket for added peace of mind.

Great For A Med Student
The Incase Protection bag in black is perfect for a pre-med student! It offers great protection for a laptop with a well-padded compartment, and the extra compartments are ideal for organizing textbooks, notebooks, and supplies. The sleek design is professional and durable, making it a reliable choice for long days on campus. Highly recommended for students who need both style and functionality. Happy Shopping and this is a FIVE STAR on top of FIVE!

Excellent
This is an astoundingly comfortable bag. Today was a hot day in my city, and I decided to give it a test while lugging some heavy electronics across town to a colleague on foot. I expected to end the trip drenched in sweat because the back of the pack doesn't appear to be designed to be breathable. Many backpacks have a shaped back to help channel sweat away from your skin and draw in cool air, but the Incase daypack has a fairly flat back that just sits against you. I thought this would be a perfect stormy for sweatiness, but the walk was surprisingly comfortable. This is a light, airy pack. It feels very sturdy and solid, but it floats on my shoulders almost like it isn't even there. Even loaded down with an uneven load of random stuff it rested well on my shoulders. I could have gone a few more miles in the heat without discomfort. At 19.5l the capacity isn't all that much to write home about - I don't think I'd try to use this as a weekender - but as a simple daypack it has plenty of room for a laptop, change of clothes and a bunch of random gadgets. I think I'll get a lot of use out of it.
