Paul did a great job with this concert. His way of rendition here is very "paul-mauria-tic" without playing the synthesizer, which he used to use during his latter career. I was very impressed by his unique "Just the way you are" in particular. As each track was digitally recorded(DDD), the sound quality is superb.Also, I'd like to strongly encourage you to get a DVD for this concert. You will love it too. I don't know if it's possble here in the USA though. I have enjoyed this great concert with this CD and the same titled DVD.

ポール・モーリア・オーケストラの臨場感あふれるコンサートを聴くことができます。もちろん、ポール・モーリアがタクトを振っている姿が目にうかびます（たぶん、１９９０年前後のライブ版）。その場が、これまた、コンサート会場そのものです。バック・グラウンド・ミュージックの域を超えています。それぞれのライブ版を聴いてみると、多少の編曲の違いがあるようです。このアルバムでは、メリハリのある音の流れを感じることができます。例を挙げると、「エーゲ海の真珠」では、それぞれの楽器が、持ち味を「華やかに」・「さりげなく」奏でています。また、異色な曲として、Western Fingersも入っています。コンサートに行けなかったら、このライブ版を聴こう。きっとコンサートに行っている気分になるでしょう。
