Ghost Ants??
I didn't know ghost ants existed until my partner brought some home with the wooden ornaments she had gotten from a certain craft store named after a common named dude. Suddenly I had an infestation in my tarantula collection and they were across our house. This spray really helped- a deep clean of the kitchen was done and a soak down with this stuff and we didn't see any ants for WEEKS (until I found ONE but never saw another after that). RE: my tarantulas, once I took care of the one enclosure that had the infestation, I cleaned off the bookcase I kept them on and soaked it down with the mint spray. I stopped seeing them even along their trail on the wall to the ceiling behind the bookshelf, and I didn't even spray the wall at all. It's a bummer that you have to reapply this every 2 weeks for best results or probably something more serious; I think we got lucky and was able take care of the heart of the issue once I rehomed my infested tarantula and took care of that. Was sure to let the spray dry completely before putting my Ts back in their spots and monitored them closely to ensure the mint wasn't bothering them. Luckily they smell through their bodies, so I dont think it phased them much, if at all. Halleluuuu

Best and Only Product that I've Tried That Works with Ants...
Works perfectly and instantly!!! When I say we have ants in our garden, I don't mean a few here or there, but we have them by the thousands. I purchased this product on the recommendation of a friend. I do not want to get rid of every ant, but I really needed to knock the population of ants down. I didn't hold much hope as we have tried everything to rid ourselves of these ants. I was so pleasantly surprised that I turned right around and bought the gallon size bottle. I spray it on the hills and down the center hole of the hill and directly on the ants and the path they are taking. I've not seen a new ant in 3-4 days now and counting... That's a miracle. I will have to reapply after heavy rains, but I'm more than happy to do that. The product leaves a very pleasant peppermint fragrance. I highly recommend.

Immediate killshot
Will all due respect to the role ants worldwide play in helping to clean up the environment by recycling dead things, I don't want them in my kitchen or in pet food bowls that are outside for several hours. The active ingredient in this is 3% peppermint oil and 1% geraniol (a germanium-derived terpene that has insecticidal properties and is safe for use around humans and pets). I have sprayed Mighty Mint on the exterior walls and around the back step which is by my kitchen. The good new is: no ants! The bad news is: they find other ways to get into my kitchen, ways that I often cannot pinpoint their egress point. Thus, I have to loose the murder squad on the counters and floor. For ant bait, I use the viscous Terro, applying it when I discover a full blown invasion. As they are eating that, whenever I see any scouts, instead of squashing them (which apparently causes them to issue a jet of pheromone telling the others "something good is over here! come quick!"), I set Mighty Mint on Stream and squirt the scout. They stagger a few steps and then stop. Forever.Since I don't know exactly how long it takes them to die, I leave the little carcass sitting in the little puddle of peppermint for 30 min or so, then wipe it up. I use a foaming spray dishwashing soap product that I then spray on the kill zone and spot clean the counter that way. Ditto the floor if that's where the intruder got nailed.I do keep a wastebasket next to my counter into which all my compostable plant and animal scraps go. I don't have a garbage disposal, so the screen covering the drain catches bits of animal protein which I scrape into the compost bin, too. When I put in the latter, I will turn the Might Mint to Spray and spray a bit in there, just in case any ant is close enough to catch wind of the bits of tuna or chicken or whatever.I haven't tried spraying this into an ant hill (or the tiny opening in the ground where I see ants coming and going in a steady stream so I know there's an underground colony. I do put Terro near them as I think that will be more effecting in killing them underground, but Might Mint is definitely worth trying if you have dogs or small children that may be attracted to an anticide like Terro, Contact, Raid and other solid or semi-solid baits.Note for those who are chemically sensitive: There is a lot of peppermint oil in Mighty Mint (3% peppermint oil and 1% geraniol which also has insect-repellent properties). It catches my breath when I have to Spray more than once. The single Stream shot to kill a scout isn't a problem for me, but Spraying the compost can be as can Spraying a stream of ants marching en masse across the counter. While the invasion needs to be fought while it is happening, when it comes to dissuading them from invading my compost bin, I typically do that at night before I leave the kitchen for the last time; by morning, the smell is gone.I've got this on Subscribe and Save because, no matter how effective it is, the ants do what ants do so I know there will be future incursions that will need to be dealt with.

INSTANTLY WORKED!!
Normally, the ants and I have a good relationship (haha). But for some reason, this year, they got bold. They were very abundant. I got this spray, and instantly, after one use, the ants were gone. There were no lingering ants, no hours before I saw them go; they were just gone. I have been ant-free in my kitchen for days now. This spray will be a permanent staple in my home from now on.

Doesn't Kill On Contact, Attracts More Ants
I bought this because it was pet friendly and I hate bringing in those heavy ant sprays that could make my pets or me sick due to smells or toxicity. On a whim I saw this and bought it. Tried it day one, as the ant problem I had been having was active when I got these delivered. The smell, yeah great peppermint smell but is super strong even from one smell. Stung the eyes a little bit. But I just wanted the ants gone, so I went to town on the ones I could see. Not only did it not kill on contact but it didn't even slow the ones I sprayed down. At first they retreated away to wherever they normally come from (Can't find the nest yet), and I assume they were just going to die and pass on the ant killer to their home. Job done should be over. The next morning... well lets say I woke up to a bunch of surprise guests. More than I had normally seen had shown up and they were actively crawling and picking at the areas I sprayed. I sprayed a cup holder i have attached to the desk and it dried, was visible it had dried in spots. And these spots were now being attended to by the ants, like they were attracted to whatever is in the spray. So needless to say, I sent them back to get a refund. It just made my issue worse, somehow, and I don't know how something designed to kill these things only brings more to the party.I watched videos of it working and people attesting to its uses but somehow I didn't get the same result. I caution anyone to buy this one.
