Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Medium Coverage Liquid Foundation 52 Vanilla, 30ml, 29199601052

I used to use Bourjois in the past but then it simply disappeared. I saw it on Amazon and bought a few pieces and I must say they did not disappoint. This definitely rivals Charlotte Tilbury foundation without the hefty price tag. When you put it on you can immediately tell it’s high end makeup as it goes on velvety and smooth. I would say this is very lightweight and reminds me more of skincare than makeup. It’s not full coverage but more of a dewy finish lightweight skin tint. My skin felt so hydrated it was like I had a rich lotion on it and the color match was perfect. Definitely not for the full coverage matte girls but would be perfect for a sheer dewy coverage look.

I wasn’t expecting this to be a super star foundation, but it performs very well for my mature, dry skin. It goes on liquidy and sets fairly quickly. I applied with a brush and then dabbed on some more with a sponge in some problem areas. The coverage is really great - a good medium. The finish is radiant with some glow but not overly so. I love that it kind of floated over my pores and didn’t settle into lines and textured skin. I only powdered my nose as that’s the area that tends to get shiny rather quickly. My nose didn’t get shiny until almost 8 hours of wear and even then, I could blot with a tissue and the foundation didn’t come off. This is also the only foundation that doesn’t transfer on to my eyeglasses. It’s the only foundation that almost looks better as the day goes on but still stays in place. For my mature skin, I either get moisturizing that doesn’t last long or long lasting but super drying. This foundation held up nicely throughout the day and I could see the color come off in my sponge when I washed my face at night. So far really liking this drug store foundation. I like it so well that it might be tied for HG status with Koh Gen Do Moisture foundation. I only wish that we could get the .5 colors in the US as they run more pink. I use the 52 Light Vanilla which is neutral enough to match my cool toned coloring.

It makes skin looks healthy. Coverage is medium but even darker spots dont look awful. I fell in love with this brand when I lived in Europe and it was a really good product for every day, not heavy makeup, that would give that boost of a good look and vitamins for dull skin. DOES NOT SET in fine lines or look cakey. gets a little runny at the end of the day, so it has to be set with the powder if you have oily T-zone. It is not so popular in the US, but back in Europe it is very popular. I always have one top shelf foundation like Yves Saint Laurent and one middle shelf like this one. I like full coverage, but this foruma really makes up for not being full coverage. I find it better then many of popular fancy ones.

This is a go to makeup for me. The product says "Improved Formula" and it does seem slightly different in a good way. It seems to be a littlte creamier in texture and blends better. It is a lightweight makeup that can vary from light to medium coverage. The color 51 is a light ivory. It is yellow toned but is light so it seems to work on my pink-toned skin which isn't the case with most yellow tinted makeups. It evens out skin tone and counteracts redness. Can be applied with fingers or a dampened beauty blender. Non-irritating and didn't cause breakouts.

Nice foundation, but not quite the right color for me. I have light olive skin with yellow undertones and this was a little peach. Also, the coverage was light to medium, so it didn’t cover enough for me. Nice dewy finish though. Similar to maybelline Fit Me dewy foundation. Not a HG, but I’ll use on days when I’m just running errands.

WoW. I am SO impressed...And for once, something I love isn't expensive! I used mineral foundation for years, but now that I'm in my 30s, it began settling into lines and looked terrible. My skin used to be oily, but it's now dry and that accentuated lines with mineral makeup. This foundation is great for dry skin and I'm finding that it's NOT settling into smile lines. It seems to move with my face and keep my skin moisturized, so I don't have dry patches by the end of the day. I only apply this once during the day, at 6AM and it last me through until I get home at 7PM. I find that this foundation feels fairly light on the skin as well, it's fluid, but not watery. The coverage is sheer to medium (when built up) and the finish is dewy/natural - it really DOES look like healthy skin. I apply 1 light layer with fingers and then I go in with a sponge and apply more coverage to my cheeks to hide hyper pigmentation. This plays well with my other products too (powder blush, finishing powder) I have cool/neutral undertones and ordered the shade Vanilla, which to my shock was PERFECT (better than any color match I've done in store for other foundations). I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a liquid foundation that's not full coverage, lightweight, and looks dewy/natural! This is a great product!

Fondotinta perfetto secondo me per chi ha una pelle secca/normale, senza grandi imperfezioni e che cerca un effetto naturale seconda pelle, glowy e impalpabile. Premessa: ho una pelle secca, la curo con la skincare mattina sera e soprattutto prima del trucco metto sempre un siero idratante. Ho visto tante recensioni e alla fine ho comprato questo fondotinta e devo dire che per quello che cercavo è praticamente il fondotinta della vita! Fondotinta: lo sfumo con il pennello e do un leggerissimo velo di cipria sulla zona fronte e lati del naso che sono quelle più "normali" rispetto al resto del viso che invece è secco. Appena messo su di me è un po' cakey e disomogeneo ma dopo qualche minuto si setta e si fonde completamente con la pelle diventando sempre più bello man mano passano le ore, perché si comincia a lucidare leggermente, per cui da semi mat e luminoso diventa glowy e talmente naturale da sembrare che non ci sia nulla sul viso, ma giuro che la pelle sembra di porcellana. Colore: ho la pelle molto chiara ma non diafana, ero decisa infatti a prendere il 52 vanilla ma provando il tester in negozio mi sono resa conto che ossida leggermente e mi lasciava un alone poco visibile ma giallastro. Ho preso quindi il 51 light vanilla un po' titubante perché mi sembrava troppo chiaro per me. Alla fine il colore è talmente perfetto che sembra che io non abbia messo nulla. Durata: esco di casa alle 7.30 e torno alle 20 e Il fondotinta è ancora lì perfetto. Consiglio a chi ha la zona t che tende a lucidare parecchio di fare un ritocco di cipria durante il giorno. Imballaggio e spedizione: spedizione perfetta, acquistato la sera e la mattina dopo era già a casa. Imballaggio ahimè scarso, la boccetta è arrivata scheggiata ma fortunatamente il danno non è così profondo da fare uscire il fondotinta. Allego foto per vedere l'effetto e il colore sulla mia pelle.
