Lamp is clearly value for the money. I’m pleased with its look and operation. The base is a tad loose, but doesn’t affect the sturdiness or operation. Caution: when unpacking, try to remove contents out of doors. The styrofoam crumbles easily and can create a bit of a cleaning headache. That said, the lamp is well packed.

It's well made and an attractive addition to any decor.

I bought a set of these for my living space and receive many compliments. The larger base is visually appealing. The construction is normal for lamps of this type, being resin for the base and some sort of plastic for the shade. This lamp share the fault of most of these mission style lamps that the bottom of the bulb is visible when you are sitting even with the lamp's height, especially if you use a larger diameter bulb, such as a CFL. I bent the rods leading to the light socket upwards slightly to compensate for this satisfactorily, but I am sure the manufacturer would not recommend doing this..

Need a shorter table because bulbs hang below shade. Causes a glare when reading.

this product contains lead. had i known this I would not have bought it.

I like the lamp and it looks good. Important to know it has a lot of resin or plastic in the panels. Makes it lighter for a bigger lamp like this but if you’re thinking you’re getting a glass cover, you aren’t.
